I think the reason why baals head doesnt work for you is because you have to uptilt with fists and then do bals head so it can be true. It doesnt work with a sword, only fists. I don't know about if gauntlets work though

Baals head works with any weapon that has enough speed but slower weapons like bisento or gs don’t work

Gauntlets on its own isn't even good. One block break has shit range, the other is super easy to perfect block. M1 range and scaling sucks compared to strength fighting styles (gauntlets just has a high m1 cap) It's good if you have a fighting style and just use it as support though.

Gauntlets has way better range than the daggers in the game. The hit box is much bigger than the weapon itself.

Scaling on gauntlets are crazy so u can just get high damage with not much point investment and have hella defense. Legit in this match I had 1900+ hp

btw i do agree with you, the pvp IS a joke. for example, the fact that you can do 60 damage per m1 with gauntlets by putting enough skill points in strengh is ridiculous and it shows perfectly that the game was not made for pvp, but for the grind and the pve
