How is this after 2 months? Could you do a follow up test and say like "2 feet, 4 feet, 6 feet, 8 feet, 10feet" etc to test the voice activated recording distance/level?

It's still working fine. I'll leave that test up to someone else to do but I'm confident it will do the job well.

So you could leave the device on (in GF car) for say an entire week with sound activation on and should be able to pick up conversation thru the week so long as the battery stays charged?

Have you tried to connect it to an android phone?

No I haven't. Q: Is it compatible with a android phone? A: The Knight KT1000 voice recorder is compatible with Android. However, it is NOT recommended to connect the recorder to a cell phone. It IS recommended to connect the audio recorder to a Windows PC or tablet or a Mac PC or tablet as this will make the listening experience the smoothest.

Can it still pick up voice in a bag 💼

Never tried it but I assume it would be muffled. It also depends on how thick and what type of material it is.

Does it activate automatically when it hears noise and when it stops hearing noise it doesn't record anything?

I prefer the small version of the Nokia 3312, or under the name of KUKI or BM10 This are Mini phones who got an voice changer including, so you can call someone and the voice changer makes the rest, nobody will recognize you..., you can change it in male, female or kids voice, I always choose the male voice, and it hears like a robotic/metallic sound...!!! And they're not expensive I pay here in Austria 20,-€ euros

Need to check state law on using this. It is illegal to record even your family in some states without being a part of the conversation.
