RHD parts have been available for years from Marks Custom Kits. He still does 1 and 2 TV interiors

Amazing work so far. Congrats! I can only imagine how much work is going into making these dash parts. Just out of curiosity; How is the steering setup been converted to RHD? Would you be able to give a peek in your next video if it fits? I'm still happy I got a LHD KITT, it's easier for the parts ;)

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the kind words. When these cars were imported into Australia, some were left LHD but some were converted to RHD - Some of the conversions completely mirrored the LHD cars moving the brake booster to the driver side etc (which is how mine was done) others just moved the steering rack. I will be showing the engine bay in coming videos (as I will be retro fitting a LS engine) so KITT has a little more get up and go haha

I left the stock engine in my last KITT too. But, I plan on keeping this one forever so I am going to make it drive like a new car. There are ALOT of hoops to jump through here in Australia too, to make it all street legal. But, I think it will be worth it in the end :)

It is designed for the 3rd gen Trans Am - but I can’t see why it couldn’t be tweaked to fit other cars 😊

What did you make this plug out of is it wood then fibreglass looking st making my own dash for LHD as didn’t want to pay a grand

Honestly, I’d pay the grand. I only made these as there is next to no RHD parts on the market with these KR parts.

Interested in making my own right hand drive dashboard, switch pod, upper consoles, and lower consoles if you could offer any help it would be fantastic as i am also trying to find out what size screen the season 3/4 dashboard is, as i am finding it hard to find the parts i need as i live in the uk

The RHD market for Knight Rider parts is non existent, this is why I thought I should go the extra step this time and start to sell the RHD parts worldwide. I will be offering these RHD parts in the coming months. I already have another 2 customers interested from the UK. The screen size is 8” in season 3/4

@@HeathsGarage it might fit a bit easier, i think for me to fit the dash into a capri there will be a lot of fiddling and cutting bits off to get it to fit correctly

Any car other than a Pontiac Trans Am will definitely need modifications made to get it to fit. I would be keen to see the end result :)

I didn’t see the point as there are many LHD parts available worldwide. There is just no RHD market (until now 😊)
