Knifemaking - Making a Pair of Knives from Old Sheep Shears

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I don't know what kind of wood the handle is from, something exotic.
The narrower knife had some bad rust pitting in the blade which unfortunately ended up making it to the edge.
Thanks for watching!

You can use Prussian Blue or lamp black to assist you in fitting metal and wooden components together to a fine degree. They’re both available from Brownells.

With shears? Lots of forge welding. Sword smithing is an art far more complex than blade smithing, but very similar in a lot of ways. I mean, swords are just big knives, right?

Truly, God has blessed you with a great skill, friend. If you haven't already. I ask you to please hurry and get right with him. The time of his return is near. Ask him to forgive you and help you to put your sinful ways behind you. Ask him to write your name in The Book Of Life. If you are true in your heart and words, then you will be saved. May we all meet in Heaven. God bless you and yours. Amen.

the fact a knife is using langets and it's not proportioned as a knife to be useful and carried easily. That it's a cutlery shape blade as if for the kitchen. Which needs to be washed all the time after cutting except it will grime up on the corners. It's not CLEAN and it's not more practical
