Say what? Neither one of them were "$820". The #77 Yankee Jack proto already sold for $725........and the #99 Wallstreet LB is priced at $695. Now, if ya meant "both together for $820"..........comes to only "$410 each"......sorry, that's simply not happening.

@@Edgekeeper747ok, collect what you like. If they were bad knives, they wouldn't have such a strong aftermarket.

"Better" ???? Seriously??? When it comes to factory made traditional folders, NOBODY builds them better than Bill Howard and his team of cutlers at GEC. That's NOT "my opinion"........THIS IS A FACT. Furthemore: when Bill retired the old WW era single sided Nicholas blade grinders ( it takes 2 of these machines to create a single knife blade ) and switched over to a CNC machine..........plus the average NEW GEC knife runs are anywhere from 500 to 900+ pcs............vs these extremely rare TIW era knives.........with often less than 50 made of each ( in the case of the #99 Wallstreet in burnt stag, only 30 pcs ).........not to mention the ONLY proto of the #77 Yankee Jack in sawcut bone. .........It caused the value of the TIW era knives to soar. Like it or not friend. The collectors are who drive the value of these knives up. And in the VERY RARE event that one of these TIW era knives show up at ebay auction.........you can bet the farm the bids drive the final price up quite a bit over what I'm selling mine for here on Rob's Thursday Night Knife Sale. In the words of the late Walter Cronkite: "That's the way it is". @@Edgekeeper747
