I am a Knicks fan and I agree. Pacers had more "horses" but not a single horse was hurt either. That being said, we can't "glaze" over the fact the Pacers also played the Bucks WITHOUT a top 5 player in the WORLD and the cornerstone of their franchise. No Dame for half the series. A hobbled Middleton. Let's just be honest here, it's been a fortunate run. There's a reason Knicks were 20-3 with OG and up 2-0 in the series with him.

@@TheAeroRising one of our key horses was out (Ben Mathurin) who averages 15ppg, but I get what you’re saying. Knicks had way more to deal with and I think they will be back with a vengeance. As far as Pacers playoff run, yes injuries played a factor in them getting this far but you expect them to not take advantage of it? A lot of Pacers fans didn’t expect them to make it this far but it is what it is. Let’s not forget Celtics played teams with key injuries as well.

ESPN has a lot of talented women who know ball. Never understood why they put McNutt on so much instead of those talented women that do know ball.

I called Pacers in 7 before the series started and when the Pacers were down 2-0. Haliburton is an explosive player. You saw it at Iowa St, moreso in the NBA. The Pacers did the Knicks a favor. Tatum would have been unguardable, especially without Adunoby. Anybody who bet on the Knicks doesn't understand how things work.

Eastern Conference Final on a third year of a rebuild, defying against all odds for an away team and a franchise in a Game 7 when history is against them, what a Carlisle masterclass! The Knicks lost this series when Anunoby went down. And even with him, they may have not won last night the way the Pacers were shooting. If he had not gone down, however, I don't think it would have gotten to Game 7, but we'll never know. I'm proud of this team - they played their hearts out. Nobody is overcoming that many injuries - they had one starter left when Anunoby went down - show me another team with that kind of depth.

We need to blame the loss to the coach, the media, and the fans. They all think Josh Hart is great, and he is not. Josh is a hard worker, but he is weak on defense, and he can't shoot. The knicks have other players who play less minutes, but score more points. The NBA has a lot of super stars who do not play the whole game, but Hart, who is not a super star, plays the whole game. This is Hart--he inbounds, receives the ball, and goes to one corner. The opponents know he can't shoot, so they leave him alone. No team can win without points on the board. Wake up, Knicks fans!!!

Ok, Let’s think about it this way… If two teams that the national media believes are rougher, tougher & play with credibility AND are likely to unseat the Celtics as the best in the east…lose star player after star player to a team going thru the playoffs, there has to be a story there. Wait, hold on, these are soft tissue injuries on the lower extremities, abdominal muscle injuries, foot injuries, hand injuries…this team they are playing must be the Bad Boy Pistons or a Pat Riley led franchise…right? Opponent star players have been not able to finish the series against this team. A DNF? Is there a Draymond Greene type enforcer out there for this team? The defensive player of year? No. Literally, the pace of play, the total number of trips up & down the court, the passing rotations around the half court offense and picking up 94 feet by the 2nd unit are the 2024 version of when the no-huddle spread offense hit college football with RG3. Did i mention the 3 pointers… Dame, Giannis, Brunson, OG, Hart all missed time unable to continue medically. And Portis missed time due to ejection bc of frustration. I am not suggesting that the 2024 Pacers are an all time, legacy NBA team but credit is due that opponents have not been able to outlast them…to this point.

Knicks vs Celtics would have been amazing but the Knicks did NOT have it. They're lucky they even got to game 7, weakest 2nd seed I've ever seen. Pacers got into gear and it wasn't even close.
