Thank you so much mam, the same thing happened with me today in my final board practical, though I saw your video yesterday only. I forgot to add dil H2SO4, but the colour didn’t change to light yellow at the beginning as you showed, it was because I was adding KMnO4 drop by drop. Your concept immediately strike my mind after few minutes, and I created the acidic medium (not a full test-tube, but half probably); and the solution changed to dark pink (of course light is preferable), and it worked for me.
