As long as it is properly placed and properly cooperated, it is not needed for La Scala, otherwise it will cause low frequency chaos.

LA SCALA Indeed a good speaker

Shrill and screachy, unless that is how it was meant to sound. Bad EQ maybe.

It's enough to enjoy life music

The La Scalas are at home in that room. I have a pair of speakers with wheels too, that I built from scratch. But my wheels are directly on the speakers instead of on stands. The speakers are too heavy for one person to move (without the wheels and the handle at the back).

It is a bit extreme. I used to think that I enjoyed a live room. What was I thinking?!? Once you acoustically treat a room, you realize that a live room ruins sound detail, imaging and soundstage

A mono recording will always emphasize the room ambience because it doesn't provide the phase difference clues that a stereo---or especially binaural---recording provides that allow your brain to filter out the reflected arrivals.

You really can put those speakers in your living room without divorce or are you already single ?
