Thats what i'm saying, his footwork is clean, all his dribbles are effective, the drill their using is also very good, having them being timed, limits how they play and forces them to play effectively, gonna try this out too.

He eventually ramped up mid season and especially with Steph out, but it didn't stay with him too much as he was pretty underwhelming in the playoffs.

Klay was back last year and he played a whole season. His defense here look the same, slow. Klay has no lift on his jump.shot. Those injuries really slowed him down.

No training last offseason, but he at it now. He's not going to start the year as a dumpster fire like last season. That was sooo tough to watch. Even with that bad start last season, he had the most made 3's in the league. He's gonna go crazy this season

They’d certainly be first round elimations even if they did. 3 out of the 5 best players are big men and pacers have top 2 worst interior defense in the nba. Buddy is so inconsistent it’s crazy. Hali isn’t the 26+ a game type of player, they have no reliable scorer. Pacers are just no where near the conversation with how the nba is looking now

It's easy to forget that Klay is 6'7" with that high release. Makes his shot hard to block, plus helps him contest on D.

Most fans that THINK they know ball assume your handles decide how good an iso player you are. Klays mid-post used to be unstoppable. Him and Livingston gave people fits

Everything pros do movement wise is fluid…when they drive it isnt outta control layups,footwork nd balance is great. Pull ups into a one legged fade,theres great levels to great basketball players in terms of reps and detail towards what they do and how they do it

You can tell how much more prepared Klay is tho. No hate to a rookie who's more talented than the whole comment section but Klay was so much more decisive and confident with his movement and it showed. Math looked like he didn't know what he was planning on doing a lot.

I'm just glad to see Klay out there since he was reasonably cautious about training last off-season. Hope he starts out hot. Well, he's playing for his last sizable extension anyway so I know he'll be trying to ball out.

Klays right calf looks CRAZY small. That's insane how much muscle atrophied and still hasn't come back. He still moves great though, so glad it doesn't seem to bother him.

Tore my achilles a few years back Left still not the same size as my right and fear it never will be. Lots of steps you put on it prior to injury to get it to that size

love this cause 1. Klay is my fav player and 2. Ben Mathurin was my ROY especially after that flaming hot start. Hopefully the work ethic rubs off and Ben takes the torch whenever Klay hangs it up!

It's not even the move it's just you gotta respect the shot if you don't contest put it in the basket.

The one thing I noticed with Klay was no wasted movements. Kept it simple and effective

That shot fake shot Klay does is special. His post game and driving to basket is way better than casual fans and media give him credit for. And of course he is a top 25 defender in the league he just stays down keeps them in front and makes them shoot over the top and he is strong so he usually doesn’t get bumped off or backed down easily
