Guys notice how he doesn’t jump until the ball gets to he release point. That is a common mistake in many shooters because they just jump and shoot all in one motion, no you have to let the ball reach its release point and then jump. U get this feeling in your arms that you just can’t describe but the way I say it is that it kinda feels lighter on your arms and it feels easier

If you pause at 0:55 you can see his entire hand on the ball. I think his pinkie just automatically retracts once the ball is out of his hand
