Very underrated. I think its because he plays off the ball. A majority of his baskets are assisted. People don't respect that for some reason, they overvalue scorers who pound the rock for 20 seconds.

Skips rant had nothing to do with anything. Shannon made since. Dont cut short a guys historic night. Im pretty sure Klay wasnt exhausted and needed oxygen. Let this man or any other hot shooter finish out with whoever you put in the game with any size lead. It makes no sense to me. If Klay was coming off an injury or some circumstance was limiting his time on the court thats one thing. But Kerr arbitrarily cutting a mans shooting night down for no good reason is a selfish act really. Let your players finish the game...like Jordan, like all players of the past. Kerr, you aint so special that pulling a players off their special night is some sort of genius act...it aint.

I have to agree with Skip, the Warriors got the record breaking 72 wins last season but it took a big time toll on them and they paid the price. They won't worry about records this season which is why they won't win 73 games this season, but I have a feeling they'll be a much stronger and focused squad come playoff time. Oh don't get me wrong now, they'll still win 60-plus games, but they'll pace themselves much better this time and won't make that mistake again. They might win 63, 65, 68 games or something, but I definitely like them to win the championship so long as they're healthy.

Irrelevant. Plus, the way Kobe had it going v. Dallas, he'd have finished with 85ish. And it was *much more* impressive to do it with a team that focused all its defense on Kobe (whereas Klay is sitting there sniping because of the amount of respect they have for KD/Steph), and against the Finals-bound, Western Conference Mavs no-less (as opposed to the current 8-seed in the LEastern Conference).

Doubt it. And besides... Kobe did it because he HAD to. And Kobe scored 55 points in the second half in that game. I mean... and they needed it all to win. It doesn't seem likely that Klay would top what Kobe did.

you guys are all missing the point. Even if Klay had a flat 4th quarter or didnt shoot much, he has an entire game to hang his hat on for 70, 75 whatever. Denying him a chance at his greatest full game each and every opportunity is a disgusting move by Kerr no matter who the hot player is.

We all know he's that type of coach who has a great communicative and understanding empowering relationship with his player. It wasn't Kerr's call to not play Klay in the 4th

Klay is great off the ball player he move around to get his self open and can shoot from anywhere and he proved that he is the best shooter when he hot!! 37 in a quarter and 60 in 29 minutes! Curry can shoot and he shoot alot and he have the ball In his hands but Klay is showing if he was the first option and every game they feed him to let him get hot he becomes unstoppable because of his movement with out the ball and his quick shooting he could overall be better than Curry because he have D just think about it

Kobe having SMUSH PARKER is a benefit to Kobe????! In Kobe's 62 point game and 81 point game he was the entire focal point of the opposing teams defense. Constant double teams. Kobe needed 81 to win a game against the struggling raptors, that's how much smush parker and bynum benefited Kobe. Klay had 1 shot contested. The rest were open jump shots off screens and wide open layups, you know why? The last 3 MVPs were on the floor.. so what do you think the focal point of the pacers defense was?

He was saying he did it when he's the third option with 2 MVP players in the lineup with him. Who's really shocked or surprised when the number one option ala Jordan or Kobe has a big game. They have a wider margin of error to take more shots to get to a bigger game, a third option such as Klay has a smaller margin of error to have a big game and thus it's more impressive.

Im a believer in karma.. so I would not have kept him in. He probably would've gotten hurt. Then Kerr would subsequently be roasted for leaving him in. Remember what happened to the Pats after 'Spygate'? They set the league on fire and ran up the score on everyone as big middle finger. Then they lost to David Tyree's helmet and Brady went down for the year in Week 1 the following season. I blame Indiana for this.
