I suppose it's more underrated as in a lot of people still haven't seen it yet but it is facing off against Christmas movies that have been around for 30-40+ years (some much older) so it will take a few years yet before it gets it's recognition as an all time great christmas movie but I'd say by 2030 you'll see it in the top 10 of every "great Christmas movie" list

This movie outdid itself. Going to watch it a million times throughout the christmas season. Seriously, Klaus CANNOT be beat. So good!!!

God, I can't believe its been 4 years since this movie was created. It has a unique vibe to it that any other christmas movie may not be able to replicate. Don't get me started on the soundtrack because this was one of the most phenominal tracks coming from a christmas movie.

This is one of the best Christmas movies, nay, movies ever made. It's so beautiful, and I can't think of a single thing I dislike about it. So full of life, charm, and beauty.

Watched this when it first came out and that last bit where he says "I'm coming Love" still got me tearing up, what the hell!?!

at the end when Klaus becomes the winter snow to be with his beloved had me in tears. and does so every time. Destine to become a timeless classic if ever there was such. ~_~

This movie is such a treasure. It captured that feeling of unstoppable hope so well. I come back to this to remind myself that having faith in kindness and hope is not silly or childish, but incredibly brave.

Making me all teary eyed

I am a person who has a hard time crying with many things in life. I was distraught when my Aunt passed away in 2019, and even moreso when I couldn't cry. It made me feel embarrassed, ashamed and guilty in a way like I never felt...Then I watched this film a few years later and I heard this song and suddenly my soul melted away to everything that I had been pent up for the past 2 years...Thank you to the writers who helped me finally move on. I will forever be in your debt.

a new christmas film but already in my classic christmas must-watch list: Home Alone, Home Alone 2, Die Hard, Die Hard 2 and Klaus

Speaking of Disney; Klaus was directed by Sergio Pablos as he did work on The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Hercules, and Tarzan. James Baxter has animated the characters for Klaus as he was the supervisor animator on Disney characters like Belle, Rafiki and Quasimodo.

I literally cannot stop thinking about this movie. it's so good and so true and so wholesome. it gives me hope even now. Thank you so much for this dude.

Песня как нельзя кстати подходит этой истории. Пускай прообразом Санта Клауса был Николай Чудотворец, то как именно он дарил подарки, незамеченным проникая в дома, походу уже додумывали сами люди. От чего образ Санты в последствии и начал обрастать легендами и мифами, как например то что он всегда остаётся незамеченным, список непослушных детей, олени и бездонный мешок с подарками.

@@_kak_betep_9477 Не божество, а скорее Клаус стал тем самым духом Рождества и добрым волшебником, который исполняет детские мечты (хотя наверняка всю работу продолжал делать Джаспер, как и весь мульт до этого. А игрушки делали жители народа Лапланов, таким образом ещё и чтя память о том, с кого пошла традиция дарить на Рождество подарки - обычного лесоруба по имени Клаус, который просто хотел семью, но в итоге сделал для всего мира гораздо больше)

The first selfless act was a father sending his son away in the hopes that he would come to appreciate hard work and the luxuries he had. The final selfless act was the son returning to the hard life to protect all the hard work the people he loved had put in.
