I was stationed in Misawa Air Force Base, Japan for 3 years from 2010-2013. Although this is just a computer generated "fake picture," a more accurate picture would have a much, MUCH narrower street and road construction signs. The blue and white beverage vending machines are accurate because they are located at random places. The irony behind this musical and this computer generated visual is that "Flower Day" is a South Korean drama and the visual in this musical is of a Japanese town. The S. Koreans and Japanese do NOT get along due to the Japanese actions of WW2 and "comfort women." Time has passed and wounds may heal but not in this case. The S. Korean descendants of "comfort women" have not received a formal apology from the Japanese government and there are still issues about this topic up to this day..
