Singapore has governed their country with good governance, enforce the law which they hv implemented regardless of race , religion & background. Their civil servants & the private sector workers are well groomed & disciplined due to their good education system which has been put in place since their first PM ie. the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew. His governance of Singapore is so good & disciplined that until today Singapore continues to be successful. Singapore today is an advanced country & with highest gold reserves in the World Bank. I salute & admire Singapore. Let us start to review our country's development.

I am a Malaysian currently residing in Singapore as a long term pass holder. I have spoken to some Singapore Malays regarding their opinions of the government and even asked them whether they have any intention to move to Malaysia with so many privileges . Their answers are quite standard ,they are happy with the government and migration to Malaysia is never in their plans !

what’s wrong with the elite governing the country if it is able to give its people one of the highest living standards, excellent education, housing, transport systems and high employment opportunities compared with our incompetent, racist and corrupt politicians . Great pod guys. I love going behind the curtains😀. As a Malaysian living in the antipodes you podcast is an excellent resource to stay in touch with political developments in Malaysia. My two cents on KKB (beautiful place to go see fireflies btw), this by-election may epitomise the malaise of Malaysian politics particularly the peninsular. At the point I’m writing this comment, DAP has decided to field Chinese Malaysian candidate to represent PH. PN rather than seizing the opportunity to field a Gerakan candidate have reverted to their working formula by naming a Bersatu Malay Malaysian candidate. I expect possibly an Indian Malaysian (fella) candidate from PSM or (highly unlikely) MUDA on nomination day tomorrow. KJ has been harping about how the Chinese vote a fixed deposit for DAP, I am of the opinion the Malay vote in the current political climate is a fixed deposit for PN. The Indian vote my either be broken by a third candidate or the community will not go the polls. As such, the real meaningful minority vote; I believe is not the Indian vote but the sizable Orang Asli voters in KKB (tad bit disappointed Dr Ong did not speak about them). Politics in Malaysia is highly highly fragmented along racial and religious lines. While I commend the aspirations to mimic Singapore in your podcast, I would say it’s almost impossible. We have been indoctrinated to think it’s either “There is a need to defend my slice of the pie, or we need to redefine the size of our cut or just enjoy whatever crumbs given to you” Singapore has gone along the way making the pie bigger and bigger Through GRC, representation across multiracial Singapore is possible. While we often only hear Southeast Chinese names when we discuss about Singapore, the reality is the political makeup of Singapore has Southeast Indian, Malay as well as Eurasian names. This has allowed policy making to distribute wealth across its various racial communities. Regardless of race, Singaporeans I know like to say “HDB is your pot of GOLD” you can really see tangible results of policy making in distributing wealth. What gets Singapore further is their ability to provide effective and organic policy accommodation if you wish to (or you can) grow your pot of GOLD. Malaysia politics revolves around status, leverage and the possible monetary benefit that comes with it. Race and religion remains a powerful tool to achieve this regardless of your capacity to deliver. I’m not saying racial politics doesn’t not exist in Singapore. I scoff at KJ suggestion Pritam has aspirations to be PM of Singapore; it is impossible for Singapore to have a Prime Minster who is not of Southeast Chinese. That however doesn’t matter in the greater scheme of things as long as you deliver. Keep up the good work guys.

This affidavit by Zahid is obviously not well thought through by him. All I can say is Zahid is backing BossKu in case his NCAA revoked, he will have a better precedent if convicted later. Which is sad given how hard you guys have worked to make light of the truth. OK Man, one of your notions of what could happen is where the board can pardon him after he gets convicted or at least he admits guilt. That's like telling us rakyat that you will let go of the perpetrator who had stolen the tabung money for an already under-privilege kids. Is this current government so weak until they need to have middle grounds every where? Voters vote for a team who had the wills for change. Not to be bended by the wills of the corrupt. -bossku’s 50% discount + home detention will only set back the construction of the rule of law in Malaysia. -pmx might as well suggest that bossku by wearing a purple uniform, live broadcast/online live across the country and internet, squat100 times, admit his "mistakes" and then can be exempted from home detention. -the rule of law is able to make rulings even unfavorable to the government when dealing with criminal and civil disputes, but sorry, not in the banana rep. -dap... aiya.. welcome to the club of doom.

DAP is in the govt but certainly not in 'power'? With most no of parlimentary seats but only given powerless port folio in the cabinet compared to the miserable UMNO . So please stop saying that you are in power. You are just a side dish....
