There cannot be another Kishor Kumar, RD Burman, lataji and many others. Likewise, there cannot another KK. Today on my way back on the road, I played this song. My eight year old daughter said to me “I get very emotional when I hear this song”. Then she literally cried. I asked her if I stop the song, she said “no papu, I love this song”. There are many immortal Hindi songs in my list. This is definitely in that list.

I can't even imagine what Leslie sir and Hariharan sir is going through. Hariharan sir spotted KK performing at a restaurant and promptly asked him to come to Mumbai. Hariharan sir recommended KK to Leslie and praised him highly for his singing talent. Leslie and KK met for the first time at Purple Haze Studio Bandra to just familiarize themselves with each other. Soon KK was singing jingles for Leslie and Leslie eventually decided to compile these jingles and send them to Sony Music international for considering KK as their debut artist in India. KK finally got the shot with Sony and collaborated with Leslie to co-produce the cult album PAL. The rest is history......... This song changed the music scene, shaped our childhood emotions and KK became unstoppable. 25+ years of pure music, blazing stage presence and dedication to his art form. KK IS ETERNAL ❤️

coincidentally this was his last song when he was performing on stage in a college in Kolkata. the auditorium was over crowded and he could be seen sweating heavily. at the end when he reached the hotel he suffered a disastrous heart attack 😢

Buying cassettes was expensive and not really affordable to me, but I still went ahead and bought this album.. one of the best there ever was. This song made KK immortal.

I lost my friend last year she sing this song very nicely whenever I listen this song I can't contol my emotions really this is the best song forever

KK sang out of his heart for every song he sang unlike Kishor da, Rafi sab, Mukesh ji, a very honest and down to earth singer can only justify songs like he did. Good to see he left a lot of these songs to memrise him time and again that we can believe what genuine singing is all about.

Whenever I am listening this masterpiece,I am feeling my grandfather's presence😢

The world isn’t ready to process this. He has blessed us with the masterpieces that can never be forgotten. He’s someone who loved his life in music, and in music, he met death. Dear KK, may your soul rest in peace 🤍

I had stayed in hostel from 1st std till my 12th std. We were the same batch of 32 students for 12 years. After 12th we all separated. And I cried a lot when I was leaving the hostel and seeing them for last time. I miss my friends, my childhood. Life was simple back then. No phones and internet to fuck us up. Our friends were our Google.
