Great!...I still remember in 1992 when i saw first time the name of Sound Engineer in a Cassette cover..Thanks to AR Rehman..He is the guy who decided to give credit to all geniuses who worked for him. Even the name of a flute player who played a small bit in a song..Pro-tools, ...etc..AR is the first man who actually broke the barrier of being a composer + sound intelligence!.Thanks KJ for your mature words...Thanks SudeepAudio for posting this...may H.Sridhar's soul rest in peace!.

We are so hidden that it took me a year to reply to this :-) I have always maintained that music making is a team effort and it just feels gratifying when people enjoy and relate to the music put out by the whole team. So thanks people for your love and support.

Sure Akshat...we can look into mixing tips and tutorials though i still maintain that no one can teach an engineer how to mix. At best, you can observe and form your own work methodology and I am willing to share that. No issues :-)

Hey, sorry for this late reply...but I heard your band and song.....I think the tune really has a good hook. yes, it just needs a good producer. I dont know what kind of hand percussion you have in mind. Once I have a list of them and how you intend to use them, i guess I could give you some ideas on how to layer them in. All the best. Cheers

Sir this was a fantastic Interview. Thanks a lot, I am a music composer, I have done a few commercials. I want to know how you go about selecting a Sound Engineer. What are the materials that a composer could ask from a sound engineer (in terms of his earlier works) Today everyone who knows Pro Tools calls himself a sound engineer. Thanks a Lot !
