Demographic realities changed after it became a Union territory.Before that it was a Punjabi City on Punjabi Land.Just because some settlers have changed the demographics doesn't mean settlers get to say what will be the future of the city.Haryana Government has officially disowned Chandigarh.Only bone of contention is SYL.
