I've listen to kittie since junior high school and I'm 2 years shy of 40 years of age they still rock out keep going girls kick ass

Just saw them play this at Sonic Temple. They killed it! Crowd was wild, crowd surfers and circle pit. Can't wait to see them again in August!!

I'm so happy for them and their success. I gotta imagine they wondered if they'd still be accepted and/or liked again after being away for so long. Seeing them embraced again is great to see.

You can totally see Me in the crowd in the Video at 2:59 with My🤘up with My long platinum/silver hair and sun glasses on.

I've been wondering about this song ever since they played it at last year's Sick New World. Cool to hear its studio version now. All the singles have been killer so far!

Yeah same, been looking forward to hearing this version for the longest time and it sounds better than I had expected. Especially on the part where Morgan sings "These scraps of poison meat...". Just blown away by the instrumentation there and her vocal delivery.

So sick hearing new Kittie in 2024.

It's all about how one decides to interpret the comment. For example, acknowledging someone's opinion and freely looking up the song Mouthful of Poison for themselves and then commenting with their own opinion after hearing both songs. That would be a positive way of reacting while still giving one freedom to express criticism. But you decided to react the other way.

Amazing how incredible they look after all the years and how they don’t appear to have lost any of their energy

We didn't get into the venue until almost noon! Their new music is actually somehow more modern, yet reminiscent of their old stuff. Nostalgia and Novelty at the same time. Good to see they still have it. Anyone else here over 35?

Okay, I am a rugby loving bloke. This has brought a tear to the eye seeing Kittie resurrected.

Times have certainly changed since MTV was promoting "Spit" back when I was still in high school. These new songs are fun! They have a "Killer Be Killed" kind of vibe in the best way. Aggression and clean vocals that are catchy without feeling whiny or frail which I get from most modern metal bands that use both vocal styles. Solid riffing going on as well. Not incredibly complex, but they're not trying to be progressive, just giving what the song needs.

Fuuuuucccck this goes so hard and I'm here for every second of it!! 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾

I feel like its a perfect time for this new album! Cant wait for full drop. And i love the new direction with the hardcore vocals. Perfect. Morgan will always be a perfect lead.

Not sure what you mean about the new direction in vocals. She's been improving, sure. But her overall style has been pretty consistent since the 2nd album with some exceptions.

Yeah, this is basically my story in a nutshell. I was 17 when Spit came out but was into heavier stuff so I didn't pay any attention to them. Fast forward to my 40s with an open mind and next thing I know they're touring again and with the first new music since 2011. Will be seeing them live twice this summer!

I grew up listening to Kittie as a kid by my mom, and they never missed a step over 20 years, that riff sounds familiar, and I love it, keep rocking nu-metal goddess, I think Kittie are the heavy metal version of the hex girls and Josie and the pussycats in real life 🤘🏻🤘🏻❤️
