I saw these awesome ladies at Ozzfest in 2000 when I was 18, loved them, and was really bummed when they no longer were a band shortly after that. I’m so stoked at 42 years old that I am listening to new music from them. Thanks for sharing this, I hadn’t heard that they were making music again ❤️

I was a big fan of Kittie back in the day (their first album really is awesome), and I agree they put out an excellent comeback album. The best they've sounded in years, and with a few truly great tracks. "We are Shadows" manages to be both heavy and catchy at the same time and is absolutely worth checking out.

The whole album will give you chills, it's amazing 🤘💙

Poppy has a pretty great cover of Kittie's Spit. Loved them in middle & high school and I'm so happy for their comeback!

Wow, this is much better than I expected! I haven't listened to Kittie in a long long time, but I listened the h*ll out of "What I always wanted". If you haven't heard that one, I'd suggest taking it for a spin :D

Oracle was one of my favorite albums by them back in the day, their cover of run like hell by Pink Floyd was awesome....that album and that song has those screams and hard asf , and if you want that spooky vibe listen to the song Oracle on that album the dark piano ominous vibe and all

I had the first and second album from Kittie, then I didn't hear from them but thanks to youtube I finally heard from them again in this year. The first album has been one of the albums i come back to listen it again and again. Still loving the music they make.

I can't claim to be that familiar with early Kittie, but they did have that ultra-heavy cover of Pink Floyd's 'Run Like Hell'. The vocals didn't even start for 2 minutes.

Kittie is back with a vengeance. This whole album is vicious AF!

Actually not 90’s, debut album was 2000. I saw them at one of the OZZfest’s I went to in early 2000’s, not sure which one. Another all female band from that time that played a couple OZZfests was Drain STH. I got introduced to them when they opened for Type O Negative.

They were performing before their albums came out, used to see them in the late 90s here in Ontario.

@@chrisyravenconlin of course bands perform before they are signed, sometimes for years. But they were only a local Canadian band until their debut album Spit and hit single Brackish brought them on the national scene in 2000.
