If you’re an animal lover traveling somewhere this summer, consider reaching out to a local organization to ask them how you can help! Many groups will be so happy to hear from you, and might ask you to bring some special supplies, volunteer, or even transport a cat.
When I asked Sterila-Santorini Cats what they need most from Santorini visitors, I was told that transportation is the biggest help. So Andrew and I volunteered to do a vet transport for two sweet kittens in our teeny tiny rental car! It was wonderful to spend time with these two rescued tabbies (even if one of them did give me a…special souvenir on my shirt 🤣).
Locals always know what is most needed, so team up with someone on the ground and find out how you can make an impact! 💖

Every car ride with kids has one constantly hollering "Are we there yet?"
That kitten had concerns and was not afraid to voice them, lol

True, I fed feral colonies in Maui Hawaii. It was wonderful. ( and learned about waiting til evening for chickens to nest or they’ll eat the cat food)
I want that chatty kitty. I love chatty animals. All the cats that I have had, had been super chatty, I loved it. I think that's why my favourite dog is a Husky, they love to talk.

Lol! I actually adopted a kitty from the Cayman Islands 3 weeks ago while on vacation there! This is your friend working on the feral cat sanctuary in Vegas. 😊 What did we name this super special boy who was starving, had a hurt leg, and the human society was unable to foster? Cayman of course! He's absolutely the sweetest cat. So special and unique looking. If you get to go to the Cayman Islands, definitely go to the Morritts. They feed about 30 cats, and a few have chewed ears due to dog attacks😢 There are amazing people at the Humane society! Shout out to "Feline Friends" the only TNR rescue on the Island. I'm looking forward to seeing a video of you guys there😊

Most shelters need donations at most. For vet bills & food for cats. So even little donation helps they to help more kitties ❤.

In Amsterdam there is a canal boat that is home to difficult to house kitties plus others. It’s a wonderful experience to visit the kitties there on the waterway. Your donation helps many kitties in Holland.

Hey I love your videos! It helped me with a 3 week old abandoned baby kitty that I found (momma was nowhere around, I waited for a full day) Just wanted to say thanks! I believe you can even start some cat accessories shop with your branding on it, such as toys, beds, brushes etc

I'm surprised the Vet administered dewormer with flea treatment on the same day; I've seen animals grow ill from the toxicity, foaming at the mouth, and I've heard of seizures and death from it. Be super careful and watch your babies especially if you use cheap stuff from Walmart, that's the worst. Vet stuff is less toxic/safer.

Quick question, at what age do kittens get weaned from milk? And when do they get trained to use the litter box? I found my little guy after a pretty decent storm was soaking wet and im assuming was around a day if that old (eyes closed, ears folded and tiny) he was abandoned not sure why but its going on 4 weeks now and he's a feisty little fella.

4-5 weeks for weaning, 3-4 weeks for litter box. She has videos on both subjects

Makes me think of the channel...something like One Man, Five Cats or something? If anyone knows the channel name, please let me know 😅 I binged pretty much all of his videos (I love his automatic litter box reviews and I don't even have a cat), and he often vists Greece. Many of his cats have come from there. Sadly...a lot of locals also just see them as a nuisance and he even saw a woman just kick one of the cats he'd been caring for, and then her and her boyfriend just laughed about it and threatened him when he called them out on it. I hope someone kicks both of them one day 🤬. You're empty inside if you find joy in hurting animals.The kitty (whom he named Severus), went home with him. Anywho, anytime he travels to Greece, he tries to help out the shelter as well. Unfortunately, it also means that very little vacation time is spent vacationing, so be aware of that happening if helping a shelter abroad. Though it sounds very fulfilling regardless 😊 I hope these two kitties are able to find new homes! And that talkative kne was reading the Riot Act, lol!

Υou're HERE? YOU ARE HERE? Where am I ? Why am I not there with you? I hope you liked one of my favourite islands. We have so many for so many different tastes.I was thinking about you and Andrew visiting Greece when I watched your video about going to Turkey . Santorini is a magical island. You feel like you can actually touch the sky there. Cats are magical creatures. So, I really hope you and your husband had a magical time there. And one day I really hope I get to see you in person either in the US or in Greece. You are one of the people who inspire me greatly. P.S.I bet the talkative kitten kep saying Welcome! Welcome!
