Lili has so much love to give to her family, she is the sweetest of cats and I really love her. Nico seems to be trying to hang on to his kittenhood just as long as he can. I think Nico could be just a tad jealous of the new kittens, but he will get over it.

Lili's mothering instincts are as boundless as her milk, and Nico who now sees his mother, Kiki, distancing herself from him, after weaning, is drawn to the nurturing. He is still very young too, and contrary to being jealous of his new siblings, is bonding with them now, as he was not able to do when he was born alone. Kiki, who was also born alone, behaved similarly. ☮️

I don't get this. Yea Nico is adorable and everyone loves him but Lili needs to imprint on her new babies and vice versa. Keep Nico away from them for now. Just cuz Lili has been "kind" by leaving him be, it doesn't matter. Its just instinct in her right now. Her brain is telling her to mother the kittens close to her and Nico is basically under her. This is NOT looking out for the best interest of the cats. This is just leaving him in there for views cuz people say hes so cute. I've stopped watching different channels cuz of the way they do things before. I've never seen someone just let another cat in the birthing box disturbing a mother cat and her new borns. C'mon now. I mean this with absolutely no disrespect but enough is enough.

This is not unusual behaviour for cats. Lili's maternal instincts are as bountiful as her milk, and Kiki is no longer responsible for Nico after weaning. She seems to have made that quite clear.

To be honest, this video was uncomfortable to watch. Lili is about to breastfeed and needs to focus on her recovery, as well as taking care of her kittens. Meanwhile, Nico throws tantrums, oblivious to the situation, and even tries to snatch away their milk. It was really upsetting to see. I hope Lili and Nico can be separated for a while. So that Lili can fully dedicate herself to taking care of the kids.

I have another perspective, Lili is gald to have Nico with her in the birth box. She feels loved and cared by Nico. Besides, owner dad is watching everything to prevent him to steal the milk from the newborns.

We have seen Mimi engage with Kiki long after weaning. I was curious about “where is Kiki” because I pray the owner has not gotten her pregnant again so soon.

Yes we saw Kiki stealing Mimi's milk, long after she was weaned, but it was in the same situation as this, a bonding experience with new siblings. An experience that both Kiki and Nico missed out on when they were born alone.

Talk about unconditional love. Lili knows how to do that in spades. She is the most patient, loving momma cat I think I've ever seen. No wonder Nico wants her attention. Who doesn't want that kind of acceptance and love? She is one special cat.

So cheeky Nico is asking Lili instead . But Lili doesn't seem to mind , at least they love each other . They are a happy cat family.🤣❤️❤️❤️

How Warm, Lili's constant Sweet Kisses to loving Nico for everything he has given her which she FELT ALL VERY DEEPLY - always Keeping her Company to COMFORT her, loving and Good SUPPORTING her babies. REGARDLESS OF HOW EXCITED HE PLAYED WITH HER - without any Discomfort. Nico often Cuddled Lili because he loves her, likes close to her, wanted to be Spoiled, be Breastfed from aunt Lili - he was Just a CHILD. Nico still enjoys to be Breastfed at his age, but knows how to Support babies by the owner's assignment - Truly COMMENDABLE!!

Lili is super-mom, she's always been so relaxed with her newborns (now totaling 6 kittens), and even the way she continues to spoil Nico (he is trying to nurse!). Amazingly patient, "laissez-faire" type mother cat, Lili. Nico is pretty aggressive about what he wants/needs, too. But maybe she indulges him because he was her sweet companion during her labor and even seems to be cleaning up the kittens, although he is a little too rough with them still

Nico has been weaned, and Kiki has distanced herself from him. It's not about the milk, it's about the nurturing and bonding with his new siblings, an experience he didn't have when he was born alone.😿

He gets along fine with Kiki, he's just reacting instinctively to Lili nursing. Cats don't typically keep the parent-child relationship for longer than around 3-4 months as the mother stops producing milk and kittens are weaned so its likely Kiki and Nico just see each other as friends now, like how Mimi doesn't particularly engage with her daughters and Charo usually keeps to herself.
