The collar gave me anxiety the entire time. It's too loose, cats hate having bells around their necks and it's clear Coco didn't like it. Really ruined an otherwise cute video.

Amazing kitty. But I suggest to take the collar with the bell off. Bells on cats' collars can create repetitive, annoying noises for both you and your cat. Sometimes cats do not react well to this jingly little bell that sits just under their chin. If your cat already has anxiety, it may not be a good idea to add a bell to his collar. It's the same for cats who stress easily.

@@davidbenito5164 i never knew that. i remember being told that it can drive a cat insane when i was a kid, but didn't realize it had any reason past aesthetics or as a means to keep track of them. it actually makes a lot of sense though past just them hunting rats because i recall reading about the negative impact that cats can have on local populations of small birds.

One of my neighbour have to put bell on hes cat because even he was bit older than coco ( not much) he keep showing up on they door step with all kinds of birds, one time with pheasant whitc was last thin they expect.

Actually the bell isn't good for cats. Cats are natural predators, the bell literally goes against the nature and it is recommended you dont use bells. It will also damage the cats hearing because the sound is too loud for the very sensitive cat ears. It will literally permanently damage a cats hearing. (though this isnt always something that happens) Basically it's not natural for the cat.

Also, that collar was very poorly fitted, it's way too loose around Coco's neck. You can see that clearly when it slips up into his mouth when they're playfighting. Really took the enjoyment out of an otherwise cute video.

You should be able to fit two fingers snugly, that's when it fits well - loose enough that the cat can slip out should it get caught, but tight enough that it doesn't just fall off or the cat can push it up over its head. This collar was clearly far too loose, the cat can get it off all by itself, as evidenced by how it moves up into his mouth as he paws at it.

Agreed. When Coco was "stunned" I was thinking "I would be too if a cat just tried to hump me" (he's meowing, and biting the neck like he would with a female cat). Also, I recently learned *dominance grooming* is a thing - for cats who want to show they're the boss without fighting/getting hurt. Just because the behavior isn't outright aggressive doesn't mean they're friendly. I would not leave that kitten alone with either of those adult cats right now.

They usually put collars/bells on their cats to help them find the cat if it goes missing, or gets lost outdoors.

Yeah Boomba just needed to get some nips in to show Coco who was boss but Boomba's a friendly boss so it's all good in the end. Also Coco holding up the bell in his mouth and looking at Boomba like "Oh is this what you want? Then you'd better come and get it~" just killed it for me~

You are clearly misenterpreting your kittens behaviour. He clearly hates the bell, repeatedly trying to get it off himself, but you seem to ignore it because his annoyance is cute... I understand that you want to put a collar on your cat, but the bell is a nuisance and disturbing to a cats natural sneaky behavior. If anyone else finds the owners use of a bell collar disturbing, please drop a comment so the owner sees it and may learn.

Oh, I love your cats! they're so cute! We have a fluffy black cat named Zim. It was meant for Sergeant Zim from...some work of fiction that I can't remember. But she's more like Invader Zim from the show of the same name. One time, she saw another of our cats and walked halfway across our property over to them. Then Zim smacked the other cat and just walked off.
