I found that funny too, lol Actually, there's a (possibly) perfectly good explanation for this actually There is higher charges for 'Street racing' than there is for simply speeding. So when the porshe goes by? Yeah that's bad sure but there are other cops around who'll get em But when KITT turns the corner He probably thought this was a street race on a populated highway, which is much more dangerous. So he needs to stop that right away. If anyone knows the specifics for this please correct me if im wrong but this is what I would believe could be the explanation lol.

@@sashamountainwater9322 My guess is that the cop knew the driver of the Porsche and deliberately looked the other way (presumably because he was some local bigwig), but he had a beef with Michael and/or KITT, and so he was all too glad to get them.

The Turbo Boost from The Train is Awesome!! 😎👍

Knight Rider mimicked reality. And this tells me that someone, somewhere was testing self-driving vehicles in the 1980s. So that means that the AI that is not shown to the public is about 20-30 years more advanced than what we see in public today. Very sobering.

5:30 the green car chase i always liked the ticking noise from KITTs MPH and the lights on the gas pedal.

The scene at 5:30 has always been one of my favorites.

My all time favorite chase scene was the one from the final verdict.

“Knight Behind Bars” is one of my favorites, but that was no car chase…

I used to watch this movie on television in 1984.... to. .. 1986

Every time they did a jump over something with the Turbo Boost button, the whole front end would get damaged Similar to Dukes of Hazzard, they went though many cars during production and filming.

They used 20 cars to portray kitt through the run of the show and most of the time they had a roll caged acrylic window jump car for a lot of the jumps and the cars usually got repaired with a few exceptions

Yes,they did.I heard they went through 23 cars at one point.

This episode was on Custom Kitt because we didn’t see the driver who really stoled that Car on 0:02

Topaz Connection for me, best car chases in the entire series and probably the best demonstration of K.I.T.T.'s power without the silly Super Pursuit mode. Criminal they didn't make it in here.

Motorcycle cop doesn't react to speeding 911 but when he sees KITT he mounts up. Typical.

Back in the eighties we didn't realize, but the recording of Knight Rider was done in an extremely amateuristic way. Just look at that jump over de freighttrain: the coming down with bonnet forward resulted in a total loss of the used car. I read somewhere that, for one episode, 3 American Transams were used.

I love these designed car than 2008 car though 2008 car has some more activities such as transformation systems but these car is the best because it’s look like uncommon design and i don’t see the car activities like it most often time this car having problems much more the 2008 car
