According to Veteran Journalist Shri Raju Bharatan Legendary Talat Mehmoodji was to sing this song but he could not reach the recording room on time that is why Legendary C Ramchandraji had to sing the male portion himself of this beautiful melodious duet and also he himself being a remarkable Singer along with being a Unique Music Director🙏🙏

Actually, C. Ramchandra has recorded the song in Talat Mahmood style, he has given the song to Talat, the rehearsal was also going on, but before a week of recording, suddenly his (Talat) father died in Lucknow and being the only son he had to do every ritual works & he was disturbed for that, but C. Ramchandra was waiting for his return to Bombay. On the other side, it's (film) producer and director were in a hurry, they had to finish works as early as possible, so seeing no way out, C. Ramchandra had decided to record this song in Talat style. Talat Mahmood was very humble and a very good friend of C. Ramchandra, he never minded for the all things. That's why it sounds like Talat.
