I first heard the song short after christmas 2021, when I had suicidal thoughts again, due to >10 years of lonelyness, depression and hopelessness. The song gave me hope, gave a way to cry and shout out my pain while singing the lyrics. Over 2022 this song became a regular compagnion. Again and again I listened to it, preferably in the car on long trips along the danish countryside, where I could sing along and cry as a vent for this lonelyness. Now as this year slowly comes to an end, I saw this song as a sad but fitting description of this year. But out of nothing I met a girl. Also with a heavy burden, scars on soul and arms, but despite of us were afraid of beeing ghosted again, we dare to open up each other. And within days hope was returning, I felt love for the first time sind 10 years and when she wrote me, that even if we have never met, she would like to cuddle in my arms and want to meet me, a mountain range of rocks was falling from my soul. I put on this song on repeat and cried tears of joy for a while. Don't let got hope, don't let go. Never! Thank you Kite for this lifesafer and masterpiece of a song!
