I got one of these for $15.00 at a yard sale last summer. It makes the best ice cream, and it is so easy to use!! Like others have said, do not wash the frozen bowl. It takes a while to thaw, but be patient.

How is it that I'm just now finding out that Kitchen Aid has an ice cream attachment?? Where have I been smh.....

I have a kitchenAid classic plus mixer. Does the ice cream maker really fit on ANY kitchenAid Mixer? These mixers they're using are all different sizes and the maker seems to fit well. I just want to be positive before buying one.

Yes it fits them all apart from the mini. It definitely fits the classic plus.

Do you have any ice cream recipes for the kitchenaid mixer ice cream maker?

Hey where can I buy one? Walmart? Target? Or on their website?

I wanted one of these but their are sooo many bad reviews on kitchen aids web site. they all say it starts to leak out the blue fluid that is inside the liner to make the mixture freeze.

Maybe people don’t follow the instructions. You are supposed to let the bowl warm to room temperature before you wash it. If you put a frozen bowl in hot water it’s going too break.

I have one and it's amazing! I make ice cream all the time now and I love it. The reason for the leaks is they are washing in hot water before the bowl thaws. When you are done making ice cream let the bowl thaw before washing, then put it back in the freezer so it's ready whenever you want to make ice cream!
