SisiYemmieTV I think you can put a white chiffon-like fabric on the window it will double as a diffuser for harsh light when taking food photos.

Hi Sisi Yemmie, I think that space there is for a water heater and not an AC. Have you thought about it.

I probably would blinds just for privacy but then again if you have no neighbors maybe a valance will do; and because of the size / location of the stove, I'll get an extractor. AC with naija weather is kinda necessary except you open your window everytime you cook.

Its lovely. The lighting is perfect but you can still use a light curtain. The kitchen looks very neat and not crowdy

I absolutely love the kitchen. I don't think you should add anymore kitchen items. Just organize what you already have. I love a simple and spacious kitchen. Over crowded kitchen only makes things difficult to find around the kitchen.

Your kitchen looks beautiful. As per plants on the window I will suggest you put a small mint plant there (living plant) it cleanses the air and smells nice also 😀 ile atura oh (May the new house be peaceful)

Nice place! Quick tip: don’t store onions with potatoes/ yams the gas in them makes the potatoes spoil quickly!

Sisi's get those small mats for putting under the dish strainer so that water does not get to the counter top

Amazingly great! Your kitchen is beautiful, like you said "the more you spend time in your kitchen, the more you'll figure out where to place things" and it's basically so.

Beautiful Kitchen! If I were a Builder in Nigeria, I would install the upper cabinets lower for easy access to dishes & foodstuffs. If your view is private you don't need to install blinds. The dangling plants may hang well from the top of the the widows. I feel that you have to cook & then decide if you're comfortable, or too hot.🔥 I have a 10 years old le cruset crock & I expect to enjoy it for many more years, they make cast iron pots with colored enamel coating. Oh yeah, you look lovely.👍🏾

You are so clean and very organized. That fan vent is ok in a kitchen if the Window is closed. Most American homes including my house have that VENT in our kirchen and I only use it during the winter when all the Windows are closed.

I love your kitchen. It's beautiful, bright and spacious. I would only add white blinds or white double sheer curtains to have privacy at night,but still having moonlight at night and sunlight in the day. Where the wires are,I would put a small decorative box or something decorative (to cover over)and hide it then put one of the hanging plant on top,or hang both plants on either side of whatever you are hiding the wires with. If you only put one plant there,hang the other on the wall opposite from it. Thanks for sharing. You look so elegant, your hair and top are beautiful.

Yes! A customized fancy white lace curtain, with an irregular shape & a touch of red? (the cabinet colors) will add a lot of elegance to your kitchen.

Love your kitchen. You definitely need a smoke extractor plus smoke alarm if you don't have one. Also, if you use gas for cooking you need a carbon monoxide detector. You need fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

Love your kitchen, love the colour scheme. The plants can be hung on both sides of your window. The light from the kitchen window is bae, needs a light curtain maybe chiffon, I think blinds will shut out the light. I'd prefer the extractor to AC. Enjoy your new kitchen

Beautiful kitchen overall, skip the blinds due to the size of the kitchen, because with the open glass windows the kitchen looks bigger and brighter. You can add a spice rack or shelf close to your cooker, looks very attractive. The AC is not really necessary there’s a big window for good ventilation. For me the kitchen is perfect as it , less is more beautiful in modern kitchen. The Extractor is not necessary because your kitchen is closed, Extractors are often used for open concept kitchen where the aroma of the food circulate around the house and stays everywhere like clothes, furniture

Hi SiS Yemmie your Kitchen looks lovely. I'll suggest you get the smoke expeller with that you may not need the A.C also the colour of your cabinet is fineeee same colour for a blind will be great too.

I love the egg basket and oh my God you have a large work top💕💕 and oh yes you really need an extractor it absorbs smell especially when you fry food.You can also get cloth flannel to put inside the extractor that absorbs the oil and you change it whenever it is needed

Congratulations on your new place. Can't wait to see all the fun stuff you'll do in there. It'd be nice to have both, but I think the extractor (to pull out heat, smells and moisture) is way more important than the AC. For the windows, you could do half blinds with some light almost see-through fabric. That way you have some nice aesthetics going on and you still get to have all the sunshine you want. I LOVE light. Loads and loads of it. But I have this very annoyingly fitted burglary proof in my kitchen, so it HAD to be covered. I did a half blind in baby pink chiffon (my tiles are pink and white), with the ends of the blinds extending down to cover the ends/edges of the burglary proof (sort of like an inverted 'U' with a lot of space between the arms.

SO beautiful , I think i will have to hire your services when i need to move to my new house , Lolz , you have eyes for all this things . I also love the red cabinet...

Hiya Sisi Yemmie..Nice kitchen you've got..May I suggest that you hang those hanging plants on your fridge close to your cooker area as you don't have much around that wall area, probably below that high storage unit..You can hang it on 2 levels like its cascading down and not side by side. You can also hang your clock right above your fridge, that will also look nice there and if there is enough space between your door and water dispenser (I can't really see the amount of space there), you can hang your food timetable beside it. Just hold it up and gauge by eye if you think it would look nice. Great job.. I'm an Interior designer..lol.

I'm watching again to see the layout. I would put the hanging plants on each sides of the window. They represent 2 creeping plants and that's where it's usually placed. But definitely cover the wires if you're not getting the air conditioner. A cooking fan above your stove would be nice. Hang your menu thing on the cupboard to your left facing your stove.

Nice kitchen. I have red walls in my open floor plan kitchen & dining room. I would replace the yellow accents with a different color; maybe like the Le Creuset utensil holder since the red is the pop of color. I would also get an a/c unit and hood above the stove as well. I love my kitchen with the blind-free windows, the sunlight is beautiful. I may do a kitchen tour one day. I love watching these videos! Thanks for sharing!

If you want to use blinds, then use white ones to keep the light. I have a ceiling fan in my kitchen and it works well for me

Hi Sisi if you would put an A.C. you'll need the heat extracting fan (there are small ones in Alaba). The blinds aren't necessary though especially when the weather becomes hot. I love your cooker 😁
