Thanks for the info. Just installed 12 in a kitchen and the dimmer has the lights strobing as they were energized.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I somehow set my comments to "approve" before posting. For me the most important part was spending the money on a dimmer switch built for LEDs. About $30!!!! Did you get it to work?

Good explanation. Question, I have installed these but the white ring around the Light gets hot. Not too hot but kinda warm plus the driver itself gets a little hot. Is that normal? Keep in mind the LED light itself and the wiring inside box stays normal temperature.

I just felt the white ring on mine and it is quite warm. I haven’t pulled one out to check the driver temp. I suspect that it is normal - but some more research or asking Lithonia might be in order just to make sure. Thanks for the question - all the best!

How do I take it down?

I just use my finger nail to pry one edge downward and then I can typically access one of the spring loaded clamps and fold it in so it comes out. If the hole is just a bit too small you can use a thin tool like a screwdriver instead of your finger to reach in and activate the spring clip. Love to hear if this works for you. All the best.
