On one end, not a fan of Raid....... but on the other hand..... There are so many characters in Raid you could base LOTS of kitbashes off of.

i always wondered if you'd consider kitbashing warhammerized characters from other games/fiction. for examples Guts,Masterchief or Doomguy as a 40K Space Marine or Kratos in warhammer fantasy/AOS,Samus as a Sister of battle that kinda thing. would be interesting to see.

Pete. You have a killteam for 40k. You could make the killteam equivalent in AOS of some icy chaos dudes from the wastes. Not a huge amount of models, but a decent dive into the concept since it looks amazing

An icy warcry warband using the tyrants of the spyre rules would be awesome!

The minute the aethermatic blue went on I had an audible reaction. That was like a magical moment that the whole pain scheme came alive. Fantastic finished product and would welcome more ice chaos conversions. Accidental or not it also reminds me of Arthas in the best way.

Probably because the character from RSL pretty much was their copy of Arthas.

While I really, REALLY don't like Laid: Radow Segends, this conversion is super cool! At first I thought it's some kind of WoW inspired conversion. Great work!

Even though a lot of people won't like the fact that this video (and the miniature itself) has connections to RAID: Shadow Legends, the miniature is amazing & gives some of us inspiration to attempt to recreate videogame characters in miniature form.

If you're going for Arthas I think the Dark Vengeance Chaos Lord would probably be the best sword for it. The model itself is also pretty good but has a lot of Space Marine in the way.

Best Raid Shadow Legends sponsor video I've seen. I personally done like the game but damn this is sweet! Would make a good Arthas I think too!

I would love to see a frost-themed Chaos army! Especially with Total War 3 coming out, it would be cool to see frozen Chaos fighting Kislev!

Cool way to do sponsored content. I think it's a cool concept to take characters from other games/stories and try to fit them into warhammer. I'd like to see you do more species/faction swaps like the 40k skaven you made.

At the end with the music and seeing the mini, I felt I was in November 2008 again about to play "Wrath of the Lich King" in WOW. Awesome job my dood!

Kind of reminds me of arthas back from WC3/WotLK, super bad ass, well done on the ice effects.

A conversion idea: The "new" Daemon Prince model never really did it for me to put into a 40k CSM army since the older metal one always felt like it fit in more along side your power armored troops. Bigger and nastier but still showing the massive power armored form like his followers. So what if you would mix Abaddon and the Daemon prince to get that power armored look back while still showing the mutations that come with Daemon hood.

Talking about inspiration: I’d love to see you tackle some of the regiments from the two page line drawing spread of them in the 3rd edition guard codex.

Perfect timing! I'm going with this kind of color scheme for my Soulblight Gravelords, so this is top notch inspiration!

You know, say whatever you will about RAID as a game and about the company behind them but their models, textures and designs are really fun! Even the animations that get shown off in ads are good. My favorite ad spots they do are like these, where they work with creators who make art of their characters.

RSL is generally a pretty scummy game (I know, I played it for months) but the character design is quite good and a neat source of inspiration. That said, great job on this model, and if you end up making more models match in-game characters to match up with sponsorships I wouldn't mind.

Wish I could still find that helmet. Was planning on making an Arthas Varanguard to use as a Wight King on Skeletal Steed

lol this is actually pretty similar to the scheme for my custom 40k Chaos Warband. They're themed around the Black Metal corpse paint look with lots of snow and ice. Though I've used Green Stuff Worlds: Liquid Frost effect on the armour for that icey vibe. Though the armour has some black parts too on my warband and I used white undead/zombie heads for any marine without a helmet. I was planning on using this model for my Chaos Lord too lol.

You should have added some ice or frost on the cape and some muddy brown to the bottom of the cape that drags the ground

I thought the inspiration would have been drawn from the Lich King from WoW. Though it seems Wurlim Frostking most likely drew inspiration from there. The mini looks great though.
