Also plastic wrap works great and it also helps to keep the body from staining.

Damn. thats super cool. the sheen to the suit looks awesome and gives me alex ross vibes. it would be awesome to eventually see a whole justice league with better bodies.

I think you've just answered my own questions about what formula will get me the best Superman. For me, it's Christopher Reeve. I've seen a lot of Reeve heads for sale that look really good in the photos at least. The Sideshow Reeve is not only ridiculously expensive now, but I've seen it in person and I wasn't super thrilled with the body. This one looks much better! I would like to know where you got that costume though. That would be the missing piece. The one you got looks great, better than Sideshow. I'd try to find boots for sale on their own, but the Crazy Toys version is cheap enough that it wouldn't be too bad to buy one just for the boots. I would love to see how they work with this figure.

I like it! I was thinking of doing the same thing with Superman. The head is Christopher Reeve. Regarding the M34 Phicen, I did a project on Rambo 1. Getting the jeans on was a challenge. I ordered the 1/6 gray tank top on EBay from China and 1/6 jeans for a M34 Phicen.

The issue with the rubber skin of M34, M35 and M36 is the tearing, I just bought M34, it is ok up to now. But My M35 has a tearing at the left arm and M36 at both shoulder, and both were at a position that did not stress the skin. But using a uniform will hide any future issue.

Could you make a video on how you dealt with removing the feet from the phicen body and connecting the red boots?

Ive bought that same head sculpt from someone and a phicen m33 body and got a Max Fleischer style costume to give it that 1940s look

Did you try heating up and stretching the boots to fit the calves better? How did you get the foot part of the boots to stay on with the smaller steel foot peg?

This is much, much nicer and more realistic looking. It was a hassle from the sounds of things, but it was a labor of love, from the looks of things.

It was definitely challenging to say the least but I’m happy with it now. Only wish the belt was straighter. I still need to fix that.

Hello, I'm so glad you posted this video. Did you ever put the knockoff boots on?? I'm currently modding a Superman figure on a Phicen M35 body and I've run into the same problem. The SSC boots won't fit past the calf muscle. I've been talking to other customizers and they seem to think cutting away at the lower part of the leg rubber will do the trick. How did yours turn out??

Hi! NICE JOB!!! But I was wondering it was maybe better from u getting a PHICEN BODY M33 than M34? I have a problem with the original body of the Sideshow Superman. The shoulder felt down after been moved the very first time...crap! I just ordered the M33 body...what u think about the boots? The original ones by Sideshow can be fit on it without any problems?

How do the hands from other figures fit on the phicen bodies.

How did you get the boots on ? I thought they had a peg on them and so does the Tbleague body. Or are the boots hollow ?

Hi looks so much better buddy, I did a similar thing with the knock off version costume, knock off Christopher Reeve head sculpt, and a TB League M33 body, the costume is such high quality with a beautiful free flowing Cape ( I put the wires on the dynamic stand under the cape ) made the nappy pants thinner by taking the inner lining out, cut the boot's to fit using a hairdryer to soften them, it looks amazing and cost just under £100 pounds, I use the seamless body's in most of my 1/6 scale figure's now it just gives them a more realistic look and feel. 😎

@@gweilojohn8550 Hey Yeah I've got one of the Crazy Toys too but now I've got a suit ordered from someone and I'm worried it won't fit my M34. I'm wanting that build though. I can't tell but with some pieces to put on the foot pegs , do you think the M30 looks more built than the M33 ? Let me know what you think if you don't mind. Thanks.

Since you've done this video have you found your Sideshow outfit cracking on the logo at all ? It looks good on an M35 but after a while it cracked

well sideshow has a new superman figure coming out that looks better than the previous one it's not perfect but its better looking than the first one from what I've seen

He looks like Steve Reeves Superman.

Love to try this custom with Chris Reeve Superman, but that phicen m34 looks way overmuscled for a Chris Reeve Superman.

The seamless body is a sculpture of Arnold Schwarzenegger's body.

Would a m33 phicen body fit the costume and the boots?

This is nice, but I used mine for Wolverine. Tbleague M35 fits Superman better

Where did you out source the underwear and belt?

It's a shame they don't put Velcro on the back of the soup or buttons like little proper buttons so you can take the suit on and off and put it on different figures instead of after and doing the stitches in it

I’ve toyed with the idea of making a custom Mezco Super suit that is just that. Something easily removable. I bet there would be plenty of people into that idea. All of these he custom suits I’ve seen or own all stitch up in the back.

Where did you get the trunks from?

Those trunks were from an online seller who was parting out his Reeve suit. They were $15 with the belt.

Hi Brad, I have a Phicen, and I want a Superman costume for it, but I'm on a budget. Any suggestion, from Brad or anyone? I'm thinking of trying the JL Barbie version. Anyone tried that? Thanks for any comment or reply.

I'd like to do that. I may lump more than one figure into each numbered favorite though. ;-)

I have two Supermen that I kitbashed. One is Henry Cavill with a M34 body and the other one is Christopher Reeves with a M33 body. They look amazing. Note: I put their soft willies on. I refused to take away their manhood. It would be unacceptable to do such thing.

do several customs with that body. A great tip for putting on clothes is to spread BABY POWDER on his body. clothes come in much easier.

For me the head is not working. It is too big for the body.

esteban torres The other option is the Hot Toys Reeve headsculpt. I tend to stay away from the Cavill head because of its lack of spitcurl.

Yeah true the Side Show collectibles is not a bad body it’s a nap salute Lee horrific lobby but the loose piece of junk niece Side Show needs to go to selling kids are get their bodies from hot toys
