I was introduced to Kitaro by a crewman I sailed with on container ships - 1987-1989...I cant remember his name , but I'm eternally grateful...this tune brought me down on an airplane in a storm some years ago , maybe 2014, after 3 tries at landing at Glasgow airport. With this loud in my earphones, I wasn't afraid of dying....so peaceful...graceful, and the way to go.

I watched the Silk Road tv series in the 80s. Never miss an episode and recorded every episode and replayed often. Kitaro's Silk Road tune still haunts me today with peace and bring me back to the places and days as shown in the TV series, so real like I was doing the Silk Road journey. God bless you Kitaro's and your musician team. With the current turmoil around the world, Kitaro's music brings calmness and peace in heart & mind. ❤

I love Kitaro music which makes me feel like taking a journey into the Silk Road in China. (Along the way, I could feel the wind, the sand, and the water. When I look up I also see an Oasis.) Then suddenly when the music stops, I am back again to other side of the earth, my home to Australia Sydney. It has been more than 40 years which I am on these journeys when I listen to his music, the fire keeps burning like the Olympic Torch…Thank you Kitaro

Who ever dare say that music can't save words to fill souls? This touches souls without a single word. Uff. Such a beauty in sounds!
Every time i hear this song, it reminds me about the old radio... This song was played before someone read the wisdom word... It really touch hearting

wished i was in the olden times, travelling in a journey along the silk road with a caravan, having a nice chat with merchants at a bazaar, taking any kind of chores to make a living, finding a cheap inn for a night stay... coming back home with bedtime stories

Timeless... and hauntingly magnificent...
To all those trapped in the circumstances of the 2020 pandemic, this is the cure. Pure music for the soul. Heart rendingly beautiful. Thankyou for your music Kitaro.

First heard this amazing music was in 1995 / 1996.... Fell in love at first listening, one of the reasons is that it can take my mind away somewhere peaceful n full of love, relaxing n relieving as well. I have been in love with you Kitaro and I will always be 😍 Wish you a long life, good health n more n more good works

Silk Road. One of his best. As good live as when I first heard it on record. It just carries you back to the days of Marco Polo or as far forward as eternity. Which ever way you want to go it will take you there.
This whole album helped me cope while I was doing time in Canon city for a frame up back in 89. Thank you !

I've been looking for this. Kitaro. Now I have found it.
This is some of those very first songs I learnt with the Yamaha's organs in the 80s. It's wonderful to see the master doing it . Thank you Sir .
There's something corny and sentimental about Kitaro's music, but also something magical and precious. Like staring at an Apple screen saver. It's a valid feeling, and every now and then, deeply necessary. Peace.
Haunting melody. Beautiful

Gracias Kitaro...

Incredibly, Tearfully Beautiful
So soothing to my soul....Thank you Kitaro!! Love your eclectic artistry!
Masterpiece!
Kitaro, in the 80's I discovered your music in a stretching course, I was so stunned that I immediately asked the teacher what this wonderful music could be ! And she told me ... After that I used your music for my yoga practice, it has been almost 30 years now, and with no other music than yours. I can say that your music changed my life !
I love this song and I loved the tv series of the Silk Road in the 80s. I learned a lot seeing that documentary.

For a while, I have been reminded by this beautifully composed piece of the journey of Yeshua Ben Joseph (Jesus) as he, his brother, James, uncle Jacob and others made their journey to India so long ago to prepare himself for his mission in Israel in the beginning of the first century. What a blessing. Thank you, Kitaro.
Dream under this romantic music is most uplifting, remember & pray for all those people from different countries struggled through countless journeys with determination & endurance fulfilling their life mission no matter for basic living needs of adventure-seeking purposes, SALUTE to their spirit. Now that we can sit back relax & taste the sweet fruits of their struggle & hardship sacrificed!
