Great conversations going here keep it up! Did I rant too soon... I don't think so... I've found over the years Pixonic already has the blueprint for what they intend to do by the time we first learn about it... We don't get to see the details until it's about ready to drop... But by getting this on everyone's mind early and getting comments flowing here and on social media... there is a small chance that we might be able to influence the outcome a bit. Wait too long and any chance of having meaningful influence is lost. We can already assume there will be a module re-work and it ultimately changes how we will "lease" power in the game going forwards. I'm hoping by making this more public, maybe the compensation for any changes will be a bit more fair, expecially for my f2p and pocket change spending friends here.

Pixonic likely possesses statistics for every item in War Robots. The data probably revealed that modules were not being updated or purchased sufficiently by players, indicating that Pixonic was not maximizing its revenue from modules. Clearly, this is a situation that Pixonic would no longer tolerate.

If they rework the modules like they did with the drones im done with this game. The drone rework was so devastating to my hanger i still dont have a single maxed drone (my best drone is lvl 9) and i dont understand why they need to change modules they havent added a new module for over a year and they havent added the immune and repair amps to the shop (they have also been out for over a year)

Oh hell no! That might make me quit the game.

I think your right on this. Bet they will do same to modules as turrets. Once remove they gone. If it happens to modules only matter of time til same on weopons. Disappear once gone. Then what to stop from doing robots in hanger.

Wow if you spent $100 to get a new bot, remove it from hangar and just lose the bot? No way Pixo’s that crazy… right? Nah I can see it 💀

They might make the modules just like drones, weapons, and robots where they will get nerfs a few months after release and release new modules more frequently.

The drone thing was theft pure and simple. If they do that B.S again I'll be completely done with this game regardless of how much time I have played.

Modules are one thing im actually ok with them frequently adding to the game i feal like the modules we have are actually fairly balanced but there is not much varity its all about nuke repair and imune amplifier and last stand. They could just add more modules and it would be much better for the meta than adding new robots

My guess is that you have to level up active modules for power cells or gold silver (Or a new currency), and passive modules will be exclusive for each robot. Basically what you said. I really hope they don't do anything to crazy (Though I don't have any modules yet)

well, if we go along with pixonic's mindset to date, it would be ' how can we charge the player to use the modules that they've bought and upgraded ?!'... we'll charge them for usage with a new currency, so if you want to use the repair amp, it'll cost x amount to mount it on to the bot and for ONE battle only.! and realistically top 1-2-3 tier players and clans wouldn't quit the game because of how much they've invested into their hangers.

They could just charge us power cells every time we drop a robot with passive modules. Like, idk, 1 power cell for each upgrade level, multiplied by the tier of the module, maybe even multiplied by the tier of the robot. That would be better than making a new currency or ruining them like mothership turrets, imo. It's all about getting us to spend constantly after all.

They better give the silver back at least lol

you know what nuclear, repair and immue amps have in common. They have 3 benefits. For example nuclear amp, it has repairable durability, bonus damage and defense mitigation. And the part where all 3 benefits are available at level 1. Pixonic might change that where it become 3 separate upgrades. And probably wont be able to be upgraded with silver... somone said powercells, platinum, difference currency etc. all for the worse I imagine

Diminishing returns. They're doing everything they can to squeeze money. What they should have done is make robot abilities into modules. Release a new bot as a cosmetic and new abilities as modules.

In particular, Pathfinder's passive "Countersuppression" ability should have been a passive module.

Yep, my guess is modules won’t be able to be swapped…. Or new custom modules will keep being released while nerfing the existing ones

No idea wat the changes will be but u can garentee it won't be good for players n u get the sense alot will quit rather than re-invest another penny

My take on the module’s is as follows, I think that there won’t be able to stack and get extra from a module. Also I think they’ll be done like time limit like 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off, something like that. I use to spend $40 a month,now it’s $5. The cost of living across the board has gotten more expensive food,fuel. In 2018 I bought olive oil for $5 litre, today the same bottle goes for $20. I can still play the game but I don’t put enough emphasis on a win. Thanks for sharing your opinion ❤❤❤❤

Yep. Not surprising. If you're in Champion League, you've likely already got the big 3 maxed, i.e. RA, NA, IA, so nobody is spending resources on them.

I can understand if they want to make money, but why can't they do what other developers do? Make maps, different armor styles, etc instead of continously messing with the game mechanics. This is ridiculous.

Robot modules already suck no one even level them up so it's nothing 😂

Seems like that would be a great opportunity to go thru purchases and request a full refund on any money investing in modules or leveling them. I don't want a bunch of whatever they come up with. ... if they remove those products.. I want the money I spent on them back. Pixonic practices around monetization and well basically things like this.. are bordering on illegal, and it is certainly immoral.

The strategy of launching robots that are obviously broken, waiting on people to buy them, and then nerfing them should be a complaint to the FTC. I have spent money on maxing out my Kid with maxed out weapons and mods, and now I am getting smoked by regular bots in two or three seconds. I understand they are running a business but there comes a time when we as player/investors are getting tired of the constant sponging. This is going to turn into "Combat Arms" 2.0 where there will be just hackers playing and no legit players on the servers. Their reporting system is a joke.

I don't think that will happen, they just recently added the unequipped button. What you are doing actually is giving them the idea how they can monetize, you could have not reacted too early, whether they do it or not, this rant video will not matter anyway

at this point, i won't be surprised if in future war robots faces some serious criminal lawsuits for unfair bussines practices. they are just looting their coustomers and are totally shameless about it

If all those points you talked about becomes a reality they are going to lose a huge chunk of players. And I for one will just be happy watching youtube gameplays and only playing extermination mode.

It’s typical of Pix to screwing the players. By taking away items just to make use spend on leveling them up again. I have been playing this game for a long time now. I do spend , but I don’t as much anymore. This especially with all the changes lately. They just keep trying to suck us dry.

I would say if you remember when they did the drones the more you had the more resources you got, so you might be better off buying them now to get more of the new currency.

Each robot has 3 modules, which costs 240 million silver per moduleto fully upgrade, so 720 million per robot for the modules. Full hangar of 5 robots with 3 modules each would equal 3.6 BILLION silver. If they change modules and dont compensate us with thatich silver, i will officially quit this scam of a game for good!!

So for anybody that had bought anything in the game its basically pixonics way of saying "we're going to punish you for paying for upgrades". I just quit games that have anything new, I suggest you all do the same thing just quit.

Maybe each Bot Would have different slots ( Attack, Defense & Universal) this will hurt/nerf Older Bots What next? Pilot Remap? Fuel Cells to enter a Match?

If they do this I wii quit/😢 can nolonger afford this

Yeah it's a grind... I encourage folks to take breaks from the game if they are burned out by the grind and return as a casual f2p... or pocket change spending player...

When the f has Pixo compinsated us for anything? Drones are absolutely f Ed up. 20 drones for 2 hangers when 5 would cover 2z drones way more expensive as well as functions changing. I’m done with the bs. U spend 1000s of dollars and what happens when servers are shut down? Free game that’s actually the most expensive game I ever played in my whole life. Every game I ever played added up does not come close to WR.

This game is such a rip off!When are these money hungry clowns gonna have enough?I can’t understand how people can play this game without spending a fortune or literally playing 8 hrs a day.

Been playing since 2016 and I'm a semi paid player and if this is anything like the drone rework and the "turning turrets into consumables" move they made then it may be time to look for another game to play..... I'm sick and tired of them turning our progress and purchases into nearly nothing.I understand them having a business to run but when you're in the business of robbing your customers and keep those practices going because there isn't a lot they can do is wrong. Dead wrong. Kids play the game too.
