wondered why they only started to sing more this week but it's kinda genius.. cause sometimes people stop watching performances by the third week. singing live is why people tune into kiof. by doing this, you get people to stay invested in you, while you can rest more during busy periods of promo (first and second week)

It's also because that's how they got popular and recognition. Belle said in an interview that bad news wasn't going well at first until the MMA (Idk which award show it was) where they sang live and a bunch of idols were reacting it. Hopefully they get another viral moment.

The fact is that artists from small companies try to sing live whereas those in big ones keep lipsyncing... Singing live with imperfection is way better than lipsyncing like idiotic robots.

KISS OF LIFE is truly what Kpop has needed for a long while. - A group who debuted with no minors - can all sing well and can sing live too - sexy concept / a mature concept of some kind revolving around being woman, instead of either being minors who are sexy or female idols of any age being infantilised (Cough HYBE) - can self-produce or self-choreograph / have some level of creative liberty within their company - have a fresh and trend-setting concept that isn't based on the tik-tokification of Kpop This is what everyone has wanted for so long, I really hope people give them the attention they so deserve. EDIT: I apologise, I should've been more clear: Kiss of Life does not have blanket-statement 'sexy concept' the same way some 2nd gen groups did, and I'm still waiting for groups like that, but to think there is 0 sexiness in this concept and that it is something that would be befitting of minors is really disturbing ya'll. ESPECIALLY THEIR SONG NOBODY KNOWS. But I digress, let's return to this specific song and its innuendos. It's still definitely a concept that has levels of sexiness to it, and a concept that relies on the maturity of the members. Which is what fans have wanted for a while: Women behaving as women, coming into their own proudly, and not being so covert and childish in their concepts. Most concepts currently revolve around 'girliness' and 'youth/teenagehood' to an extent- GIRL-crush (such as XG or BABYMONSTER), Y2k-Aesthetics* (NEW JEANS and Le Sserafim), elegance (ILLIT and IVE), bubble-gum pop or bright concept (WOO!AH!), etc. This reminds me a lot of Lee Hyori and Britany Spears who were both considered to have left mature and sexy impacts on their respective industries. *Y2K aesthetics as a concept is different to Y2K, I also want to clarify. True Y2K Is brittany spears-esque, while Y2K aesthetics is that kind of tik-tok softness-RNB aesthetic version that songs like Attention (NJ), Giddy (Kep1er), Love me like this (NMIXX), Perfect Night (Le Sserafim), Weekend (Taeyeon) have. Midas Touch is more reminiscent of actual earl 2000's Y2K songs. Not to say one is better than the other, but I think making these distinctions is important, because the difference in promiscuity between the songs I just listed and Y2K songs like Toxic, One more time, rock your body, 10 minutes (Lee Hyori) is important in discussing what I mean about sexy or mature groups and concepts.
