KISS LIVE at MSG! DYNASTY TOUR ! JULY 25, 1979 {WITH AUDIO!}
Ойын-сауық
I uploaded this film a couple of years ago but I have since found 5 minutes of audio from this very concert. I had recorded the entire show but it looks like I taped over all but one section, which is mostly Ace's guitar solo. After it is over you get to hear Paul Stanley introduce Love Gun. I must warn you that the audio is pretty rough and does not match up with what you are watching but it is definitely from this show. It is distorted from the blasting music in Madison Square Garden. My poor boom box didn't stand a chance.
I hope you enjoy it. If you are a die hard fan, the way I am with the Beatles, you will appreciate any crumb of unheard audio no matter how rough it is.

Me too, the night before!
WOW. I was at this show. My seats were directly across from this viewpoint on the other side of the garden. I tried taking 8mm footage, but it was all dark. :( only thing I got to show was Gene spitting fire and Ace shooting the guitar.
I was there!!!!! My first rock concert ever!

I was there the night before. My first concert as well!
Thanks for the memories I was at this particular show and I had ninth row seats and I still have that big silver ticket!
Seen them a few days later in Toronto,Aug 4,great show, couldn't hear for a while.
WE WAS RED ZONE !! YES
I was there! Thanks!
My parents took me as well to that same show, my father turned to my mother, "Lina, do you see that fog hanging over the main floor? do you smell that? that's weed!" LOL I was 10. Do you remember a guy with a shiny belt roller skating on the main floor and talking to people before the show started? He was going around and talking to people but we were up in the nosebleeds. I think that was Paul because he had the same belt when he got onstage. I could be wrong.
Great sound!

There were no consumer video cameras back then. It was a super 8mm movie camera. Right down my pants. This was way before 911 so not much security. And they let me walk in with a huge boom box that recorded cassettes. They asked why I had it and I told them I was from Long Island and we wanted to listen to Kiss on the train ride in. I recorded the entire show and somehow recorded over the concert a couple of years later. I wish I still had it. Tossin' and Turnin', Move On, Radioactive, some great stuff played in that show. I remember all of the parents with their kids. It was like a circus. Two years earlier, I was there for the Love Gun\Alive II tour in Dec 77 and it was all pot smoke, blood, smoke, fire, heavy rock. No kids. I was scared as hell at 16 years old. But I loved it. Glad you enjoyed seeing it again
I was there the night before, I was 13.
This video is priceless. I wish I could find footage from the show I was at, less than five months after this one. It was my first rock concert, but my show was December 14, 1979 in Huntsville AL. I still have the ticket stub, but I can't find any video footage or pictures from my actual show. It was Peter's second to last show with the band before the split. But seeing clips from the other shows from this tour, such as this one, bring back great memories of that great night. Thank you for sharing.

I am glad you enjoyed it. Don’t worry about the show you went to. Someone out there will have picture or audio and maybe even film of your show, just like I did with this show. I have had the movie reel for 20 years and only decided to post it recently. I didn’t think anyone would want to see it. It’s shaken and no real sound that matches. I am huge Beatles fan and there are things surfacing no after 60 years. There is a guy on YT that wanted to buy my film because he has a huge collection of shows. Maybe he has yours. I will try to find him for you.
I have been looking forever My aunt is dead now and she took me for my 11th birthday to the dynasty tour live in Chicago amphitheater and I have looked and looked over the years to try to find that very concert that was the very first concert I ever went to and they had Judas priest for opening act
I like how you put the Ace Frehley guitar solo over everything so I assumed that was the guitar solo that he played it sounded amazing. But the eighth mm stuff was cool from the rare Dynasty tour. From what I could tell you were showing the footage from each one of their solos in the highlights of the show. Too bad I was only four years old at the time would have loved to have been there

I recorded the audio of the entire show but lost the tape. I recently found a cassette that had what I included in the video. That is all I had left. I wasn’t trying to tape each of their solo spots. I only had about 3. Invites of film so I just filmed the most exciting moments. It was hard to do because if the security guards saw me, I would halve been thrown out.
Also the one thing I remember about this show it didn't start until 10 minutes to 11:00 the rumor was Ace frehley was late coming to the venue!
I must have sat next to you in the same nose bleed seating.
Much appreciated audio, especially with the Ace 'close encounters' solo. Although it doesn't match the video, nonetheless it's still Kisstoric.

Yeah, I forgot he did that until I recently heard the tape. I recorded the entire show but lost the tape. Somehow, I had this 5 minute snippet that I copied to some other cassette. It was at the end. I didn’t even know I had this audio any more. Enjoy.

@@trusso11783 Thank you for the great memories.
1:00 Eruption
We were in the 18th row ground floor seats and almost half the time I was small enough and light enough people were letting me up on their shoulders I don't think you could get any closer than four or five rows the aisle was closed off and people were letting me sit up on their shoulders and take pictures and then these m************ over at the photo mat you remember those little huts My dad bought like blew his f****** gaskets because I dropped off three rolls of film as something like 50 pictures taken at that concert and the m************ at the photo hut stole them they developed two pictures out of 50 pictures and the rest were blanks like they just stole my f****** film and that was the great last real tour to me when Chris still had their makeup the costumes the whole big circus top show like that was one of the last tours they really did the big production and it was just f****** incredible I mean I was 11 years old and I just like tried pod a few times and there was so much pot smoke in that place that I was high the entire time
El sonido no ayuda nada
Probably the worst solo I have ever heard

I was also out that show but I think the reason why Ace played such a s***** solo he came so late to The venue that night remember the show didn't start to almost 11:00 he was probably drunk!
