Chip Blade most of his movies in 90s were low standard kindergarten comedies and by the language you choose to use, you seem like a pretty lowlife material to me.. no wonder your choice of entertainment is so terrible

There was an era when starring opposite Govinda would catapult any actress's career. He would be paired with one actress for a couple of movies and they would become the rage. Govinda-Raveena then we had Govinda-Karishma, Govinda-Shilpa and even Govinda-Rani had some very popular hits.

I AM NOT EVEN JOKING Govinda was one of the biggest Superstar of 90s and early 2000s. Most of his movies were comedy. All of his songs are like keep brains out the door and just enjoy! And yeah OUTFITS - Ranvir isn't even close to Govinda in carrying dang outfits like a Boss :D

Govinda is our most underrated stars who never got his due. His dance skills were amazing. He overshadowed even Big B in movies like Bade Mian......he was purposely weird and funny. His comic timing is unmatched. Start with Dulhe Raja, and Raja Babu.

Yes it was big B. They both are in double roles in that. Also, Govinda is an emotion. Yes he has a certain dancing style. But he was the one who introduced Locking and Popping in India in late 80's. You should check his song- I am a street dancer. Govinda movies was a huge hit. Mostly comedyies but he has done some serious stuff as well.

His older movies like SWARG is pure classic.

Man.. the nostalgia. Saw the title and immediately clicked. It's very interesting how Govinda has far been very unexplored by reaction channels. One of the best actors of his era. Family audiences loved him.

He is the best dancer we could ever have he is insane in dancing nobody could beat him and its uh uh is iconic 😁😂

Govinda has been one of the most natural dancer. And only he can pull off these steps.

Govinda's dance was more like emotions rather than choreography movements.... There was another yesteryear actor like him who was very famouse for his dance (again not choreographic movements)... He was Legendary SHAMMI KAPOOR (Uncle of Rishi Kapoor)... He was called a rebel star in his days... Shammi Kapoor also has some awesome songs , you guys could look upon.... Gentlemen FYI: After Big B, Govinda is the best actor in Hindi films. He’s earned his success from comedies but his dramatic work is unparalleled. He did a “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” type film in the 80s called “Hatya” where he plays a young alcoholic widower & finds a deaf/mute kid, his acting phenomenal in it. He worked in a “Hitch” remake with Salman Khan, where Govinda played Kevin James role & he blew the part out of the water & turned the Kevin James part as the lead of the film.

Hatya is a remake of a malayalam movie. As big a fan I am of Govinda, I have to say his selection of scripts, directors and producers were and still are very average. He certainly had the potential to become a great actor but for that you have to work with quality scripts and directors.

IF you really want to get introduced to Govinda, I'd recommend Dulhe raja. Be warned though, Govinda is a genre that one may not be used to, and could be an acquired taste.

Dulhe Raja might be tough to translate completely and some scenes might be only be digestible to diehard fans like us, but for a foreign audience a good starting point could be Partner, it's contemporary yet has all the Govinda ingredients.

Govinda is an amazzinggg actor, especially in comedy films he really excels, his awesome dancing is just a BONUS hahahah. Also, yes it was Big B in the end! And Raveena Tandon was a pretty big star as well, she had a good connection in film like you said especially with dancing as well

Govinda's biggest asset was his connect with the pan India or more aptly North Indian culture, from Punjab in the west to UP in the east, he got the essence of the cultures that made people connect to him.

this was a comic movie and so was the song and choreography 🤣🤣

Govinda is Adam Sandler of Bollywood. He is a brilliant actor but made his career out of quirky, lowbrow comedies in the cheese era. His comedic timing is considered one of the best among Indian comedians though.

Michael Scott IMHO Jim Carey’s is the master of physical comedy and a human chameleon (try his sketches on mimicking other celebrities). Govinda is quite different. Both employ slapstick humour often but the similarities end there.

One of the greatest song of our generation.Period.!! There is a sense of playfulness in this that is out of this world.

Govinda is famous for this, literally no one ever has been able to do this or even come close to copy Govinda, too bad that his career isn't really doing good now but in the 90s he was the real deal and probably one of the top actors of the decade
