True but one of the main advantages.....which even kaka himself knew.....was he got the best songs from RD .....when they asked Rd that how come all the best songs kaka got he smiled and said.....that is not a coincidence.....we purposely reserved the best tunes for kaka.....like when Rd found a exceptional tune he would keep it in the freezer as you say.....and remove it when kaka got a film .......and kaka insisted on Kishore.....like literally forced at times.....a good example is vaada tera vaada..... Kishore told him kaka this one is qawali so I can't sing this....let Rafi sab sing this one song.....so kaka said....with his traditional wink.....theek Hai toh phir Gaana cancel ..... until Kishore said I'll try ......so you see.....he was a superstar because HE KNEW THAT THE SONGS AND KISHORE CREATED THE IMPACT...... nothing was a coincidence.....he would himself take extraordinary interest in his songs..... would personally go to sittings...even gave suggestions.....and as far as he could always insisted on Kishore..... result was there for all to see......RD EVEN SAID THAT AMITABH IS A GREAT ACTOR ......BUT RAJESH KHANNA WILL ALWAYS BE THE SUPERSTAR...... because they would never give Amitabh the best songs.....
