This is of my favorite recordings done by the Great Kirk Whalum and thats his Son Kyle on Bass simply amazing and seamless......I listen to this track daily

This had to be one of the highpoints of Kirk Whalum's career, performing on the same stage with your 18yr old son a classic piece written by him! I'm a father of 2 young boys. I'd be really emotional through this set, seeing especially as how this young man gave a good account of himself. Even the older, seasoned cats were vibing to this! As for Kyle, to be on the same set with such Legends-- George Duke, Paul Jackson jr, Alex Cunto & your Father, the one & only Kirk Whalum, PLAYING YOUR SONG-- It'd have to have registered differently on him. It'd have taken me everything to keep from just floating away to Jazz Heaven! Lol.

Ao mesmo tempo que o Kyle Whalum está solando muito bem o Michael Manson ( bass ) está entortando tudo com o Fender lá no fundo do vídeo hehehehehe Esse show foi o primeiro DVD que entrou dentro da minha casa há 13 anos atrás.
