I’ve touched on how Kirishima gets along with anyone but Monoma before, but now that their part of season five has been animated, i had to make something including that. In Monoma’s file it says that Bakugou considers him a war criminal.

I'm sorry, I usually don't get mad regarding fictional characters, but I guess you're an acception. Monoma, in the recent S5 episodes, seeing Bakugou having a slight personality change, and started minorly caring about his teammates in order to win, as represented in this video as well, seemed a bit surprised, but said he liked it better, He's not some villain wanting to tear down class 1A, like many make him out to be, He wanted his class to have some recognition as well, he never hated 1A, he, again, just thought what they were doing was wrong and also may have been a bit jealous. He'd worked so hard to get in UA to prove to people he could be a hero, and even when he got in, his class was overshadowed by 1A, and there 1A was, getting recognition, on a silver platter, They got news reports about them, Interviews by a press man, crowded by mobs of media, etc. And monoma probably, rationally felt mistreated. So as before, he worked hard to get his class some recognition, from 1A, good or bad. Yet I believe, unlike your comment, that monoma never hated anyone in 1A. The things he does and did are a simple act of feeling mistreated, and wanting fair recognition.

Kirishima and Monoma are my two favorite characters so I like it when they interact with each other. Sadly since Monoma doesn't get a lot of screen time its kinda rare they do.

These matches are entertaining yes, but they also teach you a lesson: *Match 1: Match of teamwork.* Even though they lost some of their group, match 1 teams worked with what they had and went plus ultra *Match 2: Match of friendship and good sportsmanship* When momo and kendo fought, momo realized that she couldn't win and threw a bag to help her team. When Kinoko beat tokoyami, she gave him cough drops. Kendo gave Momo credit even though Momo beat her. Kuriro checked on his team right after they beat 1A. *Match 3: Match of perseverance* Both teams didnt want to lose. They all went plus ultra with their quirks. Even 1B. They were beaten good by 1A yet still pushed themselves to the brink to beat 1A. Or atleast tie with them. *Match 4: Match of trust* They all hesitated at first, but 1A's team trusted bakugo and 1B's trusted Tokage's. Even though Setsuna and her team didnt win, she still did good Let me know if I should do match 5😂

Hmm. I'm seeing some people say how he's a "Bakugou hater", so I shall explain why he isn't. I think Monoma is the type of guy to try to convince class 1A that he knows everything of what's in their head or what their "hero motivation" is. I think the more he talks to them, the more information he picks up, and the more he can try to get to them. That's why he was so surprised that Bakugou's personality changed a little; he thought he could predict what he was going to do and.. More importantly.. WHY he was going to do it. The reason he wants to know them that well is because he wants to know what he's competing with, and it's obvious that he wants to beat class 1A. Because part of the effect his quirk has... Is the fact that his victims KNOW he can do anything they can. And I think he likes trying to make them feel powerless because of this, too. So getting inside their head would further solidify this idea thay they're powerless, and thus make him more likely to win in those scenarios. And that's why he was very skilled in-person, on the battlefield (at the sports festival), but in schoolwork and performance by himself, he keeps consistently failing. Because there's absolutely no way he can get inside his test paper's head and beat it down. (And Kiri asked him about that so that he could later ROAST him about it. But that didn't work out so well because he replied in a confusing way.) And.. Kirishima.. I guess he has beef with Monoma because his cinnamon roll self notices when Monoma's trying to pull his friends down (because maybe he himself has been pulled down in that same way, either by himself or by someone else's words).. And obviously it pisses him off. And one of his main targets is Bakugou, because he's easily the strongest in class 1A. So its not really that he hates Bakugou, it's that he just wants to beat him somehow and claim that he's stronger than him. There actually aren't many feelings between he and Bakugou, or he and anyone else. He doesn't hate them, he just hates that they're in a higher position than he is. So no.. He doesn't hate Bakugou. It's just the nature of things. I actually think that he's done this exact manipulative thing to him before. In the sport's festival, he got into Bakugou's head, and that's exactly when Monoma had the upperhand. He wants that power back, so he's studying this guy as hard as he can. Does that make sense? Calling it "hate" is just being lazy and not looking at Monoma's actual behavior or the things he's actually saying to them. He's told them like 3 times now that he wants to beat them. And like 7 times, he's taunted them in order to get inside their heads. Its actually pretty obvious if you think about it; he's an open book. His obsessive behavior may even be a mental coping mechanism for the fact that he, on his own, is not very strong, and I think he doesn't really do a lot in terms of improving the things he does. He's very intelligent and he can plan like a mad genius, but when it comes to raw skill alone, he consistently fails. Its actually kinda sad. I'm looking forward to him realizing this like Shinsou did. Nice stuff
