Special props for having to do it twice but Marx was even more relevant recently due to Sephiroth's Smash Direct which, personally, made me want to see more of the lil guy. The different abilities were so cool to see moving in a 3D space too. Wheel was a treat.

Technically, yeah at first! StrongPuff had already made the video at first, but the file somehow got deleted somehow...it took a few more months (or years? I can't remember...) before this new version of Kirby Vs. Marx was made and finally uploaded. So...yeah. Interesting development history. StrongPuff the boi.

I just realized one of the things that was bugging me about this - the moon terrain is _really_ flat and grey, almost like an untextured Blender object. That's probably why some parts feel kind of lifeless. Also, the 720p is a minor issue, but it's still enjoyable. Also, Nova's explosion looks weird without the chain coming off, and that is entirely on me for not rigging the chain. I'll fix it once the drive with its files stops having a fit.

Kirby went through all that effort to defeat Marx when he could've just pulled out a cross and had the same result in seconds. In all seriousness, fantastic work, my guy.

Love what you did with the battle, not just the animation, but including the game elements of Milky Way Wishes in an interesting way. Kirby was switching powers on the fly because he had the Copy Essences, and he summoned Knuckle Joe to get him out of a bind. Him transforming to Wheel and Yo-Yo Kirby also provided some cinematic moments that can't be gotten in a one-room boss battle. Chasing down Marx or taking the battle on the move, demonstrating the invincibility of Yo-Yo Kirby's breakdance spin by having him spin and flip through the vines (including that he's vulnerable for a moment upon stopping), and the coordination between Knuckle Joe and Kirby's tag teaming that can't be programmed in a game right now. Finally, from a storytelling perspective, Kirby being weakened but able to pull out one last bit of strength to finish Marx off is fitting. Especially the final Rising Break that sends the twisted being into Nova to blow up. Good show, and hope to see more animations soon enough. Still, take your time and have fun with it. :)

When you said big, you weren't kidding! This is really cool, and both works close to the games and has a unique, clever style! Well done! P.S. Sound choice appreciated ;)

Great video! I loved the action and effects. Some parts seem a little rough (mostly Marx's animations, but his model's pretty stiff, so that's not really on you) and in need of polish, but after all of the effort you went through to get this out after the file yeeted itself into Nova, I think this video deserves a pass. 2:46 Why did you switch to Kirby's Star Allies model here?
