8:42 Rewatching made me realize that Meta Knight is the one antagonist whose kept Kirby on his toes and kept him at bay for a considerable amount of time by actively stopping and defending their plans Only with Dynablade's help was Kirby able to board the Halberd and commence his assault And even while on board, Meta Knight actively hinders Kirby's progress by watching and sending troops after him When that doesn't work, he sends Heavy Lobster after him, even though it would damage his ship's interior Unlike most Kirby antagonists, he knows how dangerous Kirby is, and doesn't underestimate him or dismiss him Instead of twiddling his thumbs waiting for his cheeks to get clapped, he decides to clap some cheeks himself by getting in your way constantly And even gets desperate by STILL chasing after you as you try to escape

Well there’s also necrodeus which basically went all hitman and attacked Kirby on he’s sleep when he was all alone in a new land (the pupupu islands) then covered all the place with he’s army, recruited some locals and hide all the magic items able to aid Kirby on he’s quest to return back to normal Edit:the plan was getting rid of Kirby (not stopping him from advancing) and he did a decent job

It blew my mind as a kid to play both Squeak Squad and SSU and recognize the Halberd on the sea floor in Squeak Squad. Like, "Hey! I did that!"

I love the fact that HAL went out lf their way to animate BLOOPERS for a game. SO unneccessary but SO satisfying😂😂 Also, this was back when the warpstar was still flat and not as puffed up as in newer games. In "the forgotten land" it looks huge!

Well the entire story of undertake was based of this mini game so it does make sense

5:00 i always loved this scene it was so funny seeing kirby flying around

I always played this game when I was in my room cuz my mom had to take care of some kid to live in the apartment so I was left alone for a 1 1/2 but she did everything she could so I can’t complain

I hope they bring outtakes back someday. They're a nice, funny and lighthearted idea.

Im ngl Galacta Knight's cutscene is so underrated. I don't know if it's something about the music and story but it genuinely hits the hardest for me, for a short cutscene it feels like one of the coolest ones

Also i just learned this but King Dedede's Model In the cutscenes is reused for Kirby's Return To Dream Land , well it kinda makes sense sinse super star ultra and return to dream land were developed around the same time but well you might not think its reused but if you look closely "Tommorow's Wind" Cutscene yeah its the same model ( well kinda )

The blooper reels makes Kirby superstar ultra feel scripted. Which I kinda get since it's a remake of superstar.

What emulator do you use, and what version? It seems like most emulators make the KSSU cutscenes go at half speed, making a massive delay between the video and audio. Is there a way to make cutscenes play at the correct speed on anything other than a DS, DSi, or 3DS?
