Kid is going to be a star. So much potential and already so good in the defensive end and so fast for his size

He’s gonna be better than Kakko & Hughes and I said it before he got drafted

Best pick Stan has ever made. Dach is going to be a franchise player no doubt in my mind.

yeah I agree, he looks like a guy that has the potential to be a 100 point player with the right amount of ice time. Give him 2-3 years and I think he's a top 10 scorer annually. Should get a look for Team Canada at camp in 2022 IMO.

I went to the sharks game right before they postponed the regular season and man oh man Dach is definitely the future of the hawks and I'm glad hes got toews and kane to teach him

I was a little reserved about the Dachtor, he's a big kid who isn't done growing and can skate really well. He's definitely got the potential to be the 1C in a few years. The pieces are there, time will tell if he puts the puzzle together.

Here after that romanov trade.. Sad to see him go :( But this guy, kirby dach never heard of him and i was like wtf kent did.. After seeing this vid, I think we got a W

There could be an entire highlight reel of Dach winning and 50/50s. The dude just always seems to come out with the puck from board battles. Shades of Hossa.

Didn’t realize how well Dach worked with Kubalik til this video but it makes sense having a shifty playmaker work with a cannon of a shot like Kubalik

Man i cant wait for him to put on more muscle, bud's gonna be a truck when he gets into his prime

So glad I got to watch him in Saskatoon. Surprised me when he went 3rd overall, but clearly he has proven everyone wrong. He puts on 10-15 ibs, and a couple more years of development on the Hawks top 2 lines, he easily can become one of the top Power Forwards in the league, and possibly best player out of this draft. And oh boy with a backhand like that, might be giving Crosby a run for his money😂

3:17 What a great move! I think he had the most flashes of how great he can become compared to Hughes and Kakko, Hughes may be arguable, but definitely more than Kakko. Hope we see more of his skills next year, he should improve quite a bit(same for the other two)

If you weren't watching the Rangers daily it's an unfair assessment to make. And to be fair I haven't watched much of the Hawks, but I saw similarities between him and Kakko: big bodies with soft hands who just need to develop more. Hughes, Kakko, and Dach are all incredibly talented and young. The points will come in plenty for all three.

I saw him in the junior playoffs I wasn't suprised he went third I forget who the blades were facing but they're whole game plan was to keep the puck away from dach and Dach still lit it up he might just might end up being the best player from the 2019 draft

Wanted him or Byram for the Avs and Hawks got this guy, different positions obviously but I'll always compare which pick ends up being better

Doubts and fears destroys ability and fear of making mistakes causes more mistakes. The kids huge he’s 19 and like 6’3 6’4. His wingspans and reach is insane which makes for some good. Passed and defensive stick plays

His 1st NHL goal came off his knee :-) and yes he was 3rd overall pick but he is a bust....Chicago had him for a few years and traded him because he's not the elite player they thought they were getting....so what happens....the Habs pick him up for 2 draft picks...smh....I thought Kent Huges could have traded for someone else that would have had a higher return.

he has -18 and only 26 points with faceoff percentage of only 32 percent last year in nhl which is not good. for chicago to trade him for a 13th pick when dach was a 3rd pick shows that something is not so good about dach.

yes its a 13th overall pick but its an average draft.....his upside is pretty high and hes only 21

@@marcbabineau6001 just look at his stats last year. it shows that he is not worth a 3rd pick or even a 13th. montreal did a mistake to trade romanov and 2 draft picks for him and dach dont even have a contract signed for the future and they will have to sign him. we will see in the future but i think this was a mistake from montreal unless dach suddenly start play better which would surprise me because if he could not with chicago i dont see how he can do better with montreal who finished last position and have a very bad team.

@@marcbabineau6001 ok i can give to you the fact that romanov might not be the best but the 13th pick could have been better used than dach and the 2 other picks habs lost too. i think it was a bad trade but like i said we will see what happens with dach but he did not even sign a contract with habs yet and if he dont then that will be a complete loss. we will see. you also dont have to agree with me but thats my opinion. have a nice day.
