But actually, what this mod does is force the game to run at 256 x 144. For comparison, a Game Boy screen is 160 x 144. This does not affect any UI elements nor certain scenes where 3D elements are rendered on top of the UI, such as figures or Kirby before entering a level. The pre-rendered cutscenes have also been lowered in quality. It also removes Depth of Field blur because it looks really ugly mixed with the low quality.
