Oh wow! I never would have guessed that Float Islands was based on a previous theme from an Adventures of Lolo game! I thought the connections ended at them both being developed by HAL and Lololo/Lalala being based on Lolo/Lala. Great video!

Huh, I never knew that Float Islands was technically first heard in Adventures Of Lolo 3... guess you always learn something new every day!

Canvas Curse is the GOAT

This theme is used a bunch in the series. I really liked that the rest area music was reused in Smash Bros. That version is beautiful.

One of the things I love about Kirby music is that it reuses so many themes, and I can usually recognize when they do this but I never know exactly where the theme comes from, giving it a very very unique sense of nostalgia.

Oh man, Smash brings it back. Getting those random new trophies was the most pog thing ever

I told everyone this was the true origin to Melee's all star rest area, they didn't believe me...

The Super Star Rest Area is my favorite piece of music ever made. It brings back all the memories that I cherish and love, and every time I play the game it makes me happy. It is such a simple theme that carries so much weight to it. Thanks for making this compilation so I can listen to them all again 🙂

There’s even an anime version of this theme called bongo poyo beach

Thank you for doing this video, Float Islands is one of my favorite themes! And thank you for incluiding the Kirby 64 ones and Bountiful Star, this last one is like a loose remix of Float Islands. Also, I think that "Sea Stage" of Super Star have a part similar to Float Islands, at least in the beginning.

Yeah that would be awesome, I've been wanting a video like for a long time :)

This was always one of my favorite themes and I think Sakurai agrees considering how many times he uses it in his games. Always made me happy to hear this even if I didn't totally understand it was a rendition of the same theme. Wish other themes (looking at you Lifelight) managed to make up fresh new versions of the same theme as successfully as this one

Every time I hear the rest area music, I literally cry. Foundational piece of music for me as a whole.

Squeak squad star ride borrowing the chord progression from the original theme Iolo’s adventure is a nice touch!

It's cool seeing this song throughout the years but it's more nostalgic in super star and the rest area for me since I barely played much kirby I didn't realize there where this much versions throughout the games.

It's been a year since your return, hope to see you doing more recurring themes soon. For this theme, my favourite is from - Kirby's Return To Dream Land. I wonder if you can do Green Greens , Bubbly Clouds , Distant Traveler (Magolor’s Final Battle from Kirby’s Dream Collection) and Floral Fields themes soon.
