No one can survive in any field without hardwork, ofcourse messi doesn't hit the gym as many hours as ronaldo does but messi focuses more on tactics, passing and accuracy as a whole skills. Like messi once said it took me 17 years and 114 days to become an overnight success. I do believe he is god gifted but it took him lot of dedication and hardwork to be consistent for 15 years. There is a misconception that people think result should be visible externally, then what about internal results? If you watch UFC there is a guy izzy who is middle weight champion, he is kinda skinny compared to his opponents and he has been teased by many but he replied all of them by saying its not Mr olympia i'm here to fight and i don't give a fuckk, he always believed in mastering his craft just like messi and has dominated the full shredded guys and now is unbeatable.
