Some people seemed to think Miku's taking it for granted, but I don't. Think about it , she can be anything thing she wants, well being free is a thing, is it not? She wants to be free. I mean if you where stuck in a world where everything you want happens, at first it's gonna be paradise. Then when that's all you can do, when there is no negative, only joy it will slowly get to you. Life isn't meant to be perfect, it's supposed to have ups and downs, but she doesn't have that. There's no challenge, no variable, no war, conflict, bad days, nothing. We hate when stuff doesn't go our way, but if we always got our way it would be boring. She's in there all alone in nothing more than a golden bird cage. She isn't supposed to escape. She's supposed to stay there and be pretty. That's it! She's tried of acting, and being anything she wants because , that isn't really her. She wants to escape to the real world, to have drawbacks, so she can feel truly alive. This isn't Miku being ungrateful, this is Miku wanting the one thing she wasn't meant to have, FREEDOM.

I love songs that do that.

I really REALLY dig this Early 2000's Bittersweet Pop Music sound. I'm so glad that this song kept its upbeat energy when it very easily could have veered into a Surprise Darker Tone. There's something about this kinda upbeat anger that just gives the song such a good identity and sound. "Sure, alright, got it, poor you!" is *such* a great part. Lyrical rhythm is such a hallmark of a good KIRA song. And the PV is so super good. I really love how the different Miku renders are re-used and staggered in ways that still feel pretty fresh, to the point where you don't think how few different images of her there are. And the digital aesthetic -- from the dial-up distortion to the video artifacting -- just really bring the whole thing together.

It reminds me of something that would be in a Disney movie in the early 2000's that not a lot of people remember

I don't see as that, if you pick the very line before these it makes it feel like these mocks were being directed towards her "what about your issues, look at what's life come to" as it's her thoughts about herself, and the best line being "the outside world" just brushing her feelings aside...... Kinda weird how accurate this line to some (or most) people are towards other's emotions.... "Sure, alright, I got it, poor you"........
