My word! A demo! Never mind that, it's so good it's straight to the top end of all-time best shoegaze albums even, these guys were that good. I had the good fortune to see them live in Tokyo in 2014, a truly life-changing experience 🙏

This is the best album I've ever heard and I'm not being hyperbolic. A constant source of comfort in the past decade of my life and it will be, hopefully for decades to come

Track 4 Musician appears on both demos. I suppose the song had a special meaning for the band. I can hear a lot of Radiohead influence from it.

Listening to this version of kokudou slope just made me have goosebumps. Wow.

bluupanda I love that one, too! They put it on their newest album, 愛のゆくえ, which is available on amazon.co.jp. It comes in a cardboard box, with the lyrics printed on the backs of loose pictures instead of in a booklet.

Сижу бухаю и думаю, такие группы распадаються потому, что мы не можем или не хотим платить за их музыку, слушаем все в бесплатных версиях? Вот и My dead girlfrend на паузе...

+Martín Chui The band's name is Kinoko Teikoku(Mushroom Empire) and their style is considered Shoegaze/Dreampop.

I do hope they re-record track 2 at some point, these early demo recordings are a little bit rough. In the mean time, do you still have that download available?

to be honest, I do vastly prefer how the old version sounds to the new one. Both in how they recorded it and how they perform it.
