Kinky sure as hell made his life a great art project. I was verbally attacked by the Kinkster in person at the Highline club way out on north Lamar long ago. I froze at the insult and he got a small laugh from the folks. He then insulted a women by dumping a glass of beer on her in the audience who then walked up and toss a pitcher of beer on the man and the crowd roared it's approval ! Kinky laughed it off, it was back when living in Austin was pure gold day in and day out 40 years ago.
Kinky is Hunter Thompson with actual talent and true perspective.

He makes some good points and some terrible ones. And true to form for many Americans, he doesn't understand/ want to know the difference between socialism and democratic socialism.

Or he's being a little ethnocentric... which is ok. :) I think I'm truly glad I got to be born in a country such as diverse as this. The growing pains are going to be hard for the next 10 or 20 years, but if we come out of it in one piece I think America truly will be greater than ever before. There has never been a more interesting time or place to be alive, ever.
