On bright side, you will get to hear "Plastic Jesus" and discover his detective series of books. 😊
When we lived in NYC, my late wife and I would go to the Lone Star Cafe on Fifth Avenue to see Kinky Friedman and the Texas Jewboys, drink Lone Star long necks, and eat bbq that was cooked in Texas, packed in dry ice and flown to New York every weekend. There was a giant iguana sculpture on the roof made by the MCC Art dept. Those were the glory days of the band, with hits like Ride 'em Jewboy and Asshole from El Paso. Ahh... it was the best of times, etc...
