Have some pity, the poor guy is making an effort not to role his eyes over the stupidity of the questions, while at the same time appear, friendly, interested and likable enough for the interview to be worth while watching for the audience. For some reason journalists - and those who pretend to be journalists - seems to think they can ask actors and actresses anything under the sun. I am a writer myself, and is always confronted with the same safe questions, about the characters, the setting, the theme, plus a tiny little bit about my own personal life and how it has influenced my writing. That is about it. Sometimes I suspect the interviewers only interviews me, so they will have a little knowledge about the project, before going on to interview the stars. If I get a question I either don`t think is fair, or I feel is too stupid to offer a reply, I just says so. Actors and actresses are less free to do so. They have to cope the best way they can, regardless what is being thrown at them. For them it is essential to be liked and adored by the audience - cause they, as people, is the product - much more than the characters they play. Unlike for a writer, where the focus solely is on the script, story, characters and theme. Writers doesn`t have to be liked or adored. As long as the audience like the stories and characters we create, that is all that is needed. Besides, by spending so much time on that one question, as Taron Egerton did on that particular question here, he is protecting himself from further, and perhaps even more stupid, questions the interviewer could throw at him, since each interviewer only has a limited amount of time, and the star, studio or network`s publicist is watchful those time restrictions are not being exceeded. From the way Egerton says "Okay" while answering the question - a Freudian slip he needs to persuade himself to take the question seriously, and not blurt out with something revealing what he really thinks - he both gains time to think, but also takes up much of the interview time with that one question - protecting himself from any bombshell questions the interviewer could have planned as a finish to the interview. Journalists most often leave controversial questions to the end of the interview, so they by then have some answers they could use, if the subject should cut the interview short, after being confronted with a question he/she didn`t like. There is a lot more tension, and alertness for potential dueling, in these types of interviews than what meets the eye. They may look effortless and cheerful. But it is all an act. For every single question, Egerton has to figure out where the interviewer could be going with this, while at the same time he himself would have to appear friendly and joyful, attempting to promote the movie and his career the best way possible through his answers and domineer. It is hard work. And if the questions start to zoom too closely in on areas the interviewee doesn`t want anyone to pry into, it can be quite nerve wrecking too. It doesn`t even have to be anything controversial. If you are wondering whether or not to pop the question to your girlfriend, you don`t want her to learn that from an interview - but again, you wouldn`t like to come across too casual on the subject, making her think the two of you were not serious, either. So to avoid the question altogether would be preferable. But if you give as condition for the interview all questions of marriage is off the table, you risk either to increase the press focus around yourself and that issue - or you risk the press jump to the wrong conclusion, and believe you to be gay. Interviews are a minefield. The surface might look both safe and idyllic, but underneath every step (question) there could be a mine waiting to explode, and perhaps blow both your career and life into pieces.

@@skyistrying Yeah I know. I wish he was available, but he's not. Fellow Canadian Mena Massoud from Aladdin is available, but he's said he's not dating right now because he's focusing on his career. So I should really give up on hoping to be with a celebrity lol. Zac Efron may or may not be single now. I don't know. I haven't followed him for a while. I respect Taron's relationship. Who am I kidding? Even if Taron were single and I got the chance to meet him, he'd probably never go out with me anyway.

He's spoken about asking a girl out on the underground when he was at RADA, and then in a couple of interviews with Hugh Jackman for Eddie The Eagle he said he found his German Female skiing instructor attractive. Then on The Jonathan Ross talk show in the UK Taron said he'd come across different kinds of pubic styles on a woman. In a recent interview for Eddie The Eagle where Hugh Jackman pretends to get drunk on vodka, Taron says the Blonde female interviewer is attractive. Therefore I think his type is blonde women ✌🏻️
