I agree with all of those except backlot ava backlot and banshee vs dominator. The KI backlot wins for sure because they consistently have the effects work.

KD is my home park, but I haven't visited KI. I actually love Grizzly. It's certainly not smooth, but it never really causes me pain or discomfort, and I honestly think it has a strong layout. One thing I found interesting is your match up of Apple Zapple and Flying Ace. I feel like most people would take Apple Zapple, cause those vekoma family suspended coasters are known for giving crazy headbanging. People literally call them 'Hang and Bangs'. Based of the clone at Carowinds I rode, I would definitely take Apple Zapple.

Oddly enough I’ve ridden a couple of those Vekoma and have never felt with any head banging on those idk if it’s a height thing or what but those small cars on apple zapple were not comfortable for me

I disagree on Mystic Timbers and Orion. I305 is definitely more intense and definitely more unique but Orion is just simply more fun. I agree that The Beast is easily better than Grizzly but I didn't think Grizzly was overly rough.

That’s fair enough I find the gigs choice is a matter of ride style preference and I need some rerides on Grizzly I think I got a back ride

I don't think I can disagree with any of this. With that said, I've only been to KI once and I'll be going to KD for the first time later this year

I think the sum of the coasters is a bigger gap with KI being better but I still loved Kings Dominion so enjoy!

Kd is my homepark and ive been to Ki twice. I agree that Beast is better than Grizzly but Grizzly is solid. I personally prefer dominator to banshee but its only like a 6 spot difference. I prefer Mystic to Twisted. Twisted is pretty average outside of 2 moments (triple hills and banked hill) and Ik this is a hot take but i might actually take anaconda over diamondback lol. Diamondback didn’t have a single moment of airtime and is the roughest hyper ive ridden and this is coming from someone whos ridden both Vegas hypers

Diamondback rattled me so bad my first ride I didn’t get to enjoy it, the next two rides were much better. I’m starting to think I got a really bad ride on Grizzly because I have heard many people defend it so I’m kinda looking forward to reriding it

Sorry Kings Dominion is a ok park. But definitely not in the same league as Kings Island. I will take a the true woody over the hybrid. And DiamondBack is very smooth. Not sure where you think the rattle comes from. And as far as back lot has all the theming that works in KI. And As far as Banshee. I have rode the front and the back. I love both. But I really like the back than the front on most coasters.

I think overall I would take Kings Island anyway if the week but this format tends to lead things closer, especially with some close matchups that I still flip flop on

Kings Dominion was so disappointing. I love Orion but Intimidator 305 made me feel like I was going to die. It’s so much better than the other rides at kings dominion were nothing. Orion at least has Diamondback. Both the Timbers are very overrated but I would take Twisted Timbers.
